We are seeking a Social Media Content Specialist who excels at writing, research, and creative content generation to join our fulfillment team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, curating, and crafting relevant content, scheduling out editorial calendars in our platform, and engaging with our fulfillment teams on customer needs.

This position will be responsible for the strategy, creation, and implementation of marketing initiatives for a variety of SocialMadeSimple’s clients.

The Social Media Content Specialist oversees and executes strategic social media posts, primarily through Facebook & Instagram, engaging end-client content, and occasional communication with our clients about their content needs. Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can be trusted to meet the needs of our clients at every stage of their business journey. Our organization rewards team members who are self-starters and problem solvers as we’re a rapidly evolving, startup-like atmosphere.

What You’ll Do At SocialMadeSimple

  • Create unique, high-quality content for social media for SocialMadeSimple clients
  • Daily management of all social media platforms and toolsposting, reposting, scheduling, responding to comments, and jumping on social trends and topics
  • Maintain knowledge of digital marketing best practices and strategies.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver effectively and efficiently
  • Manage multiple projects at the same time, ensuring all client needs and deadlines are met
  • Measure the success of our social media marketing efforts by developing actionable KPIs

We Are Looking For People Who

  • Recent graduates with a BA/BS degree in communications, marketing, PR, advertising, or English
  • Minimum 1+ years of relevant work experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Digital marketing and/or social media experience, beyond personal use
  • Ability to think strategically and identify and resolve problems
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Experience in graphic design, Facebook ad creation and/or email marketing a plus, but not required
