National Account Executive - 12 Month FTC

Client Growth Delivered (Homebased)

The role of the SalesOut National Account Executive is to support the National Account Manager(s) aim of partnering with SalesOut customer(s) and ensuring long-term success. This is achieved through regular collaboration, networking and training with the customer's teams and their suppliers to deliver a great customer experience and the successful delivery of our solutions.  They will need to understand their customer(s) / suppliers(s) key growth strategy and support them by the use of the SalesOut system to identify any potential growth areas, that will in turn add value, drive profitable sales, increase income streams and provide a return on investment to all parties against the SalesOut system.

The primary focus of the role is to build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, to deliver year on year renewals of existing and new data subscriptions and revenue, plus use any other activities or initiatives as required (such as analytics to the wholesaler management team), to grow our income or add value.

The National Account Executive will need to spend time with the Account Management team (and their wholesalers) to build a strong network of contacts and to work with them collaboratively as a trusted partner.  They will also spend time in the IRI Bracknell office to liaise face to face with cross-functional and internal teams, to ensure we deliver a great customer experience, providing timely and successful delivery of our solutions and executing with excellence.

Main role responsibilities:

  • Support towards the deliverable targets for Wholesaler Revenue (Contract, Subscriptions, Smart Cash etc)

 

  • Support the Account Management team with new and ongoing key projects aligned to the business strategy

 

  • Develop and maintain relationships with their customer(s) and their suppliers to primarily deliver long-term subscriptions, as well as additional upsells such as analytics

 

  • Cross-functional department working to support the resolving of issues or challenges

 

  • Deliver regular insightful training to ensure all system users are fully proficient

 

  • Understand user volume and stats and take appropriate action where needed

 

  • Ownership of quality data reviews and processes (Quality appraisal of the Data & QA Checks)

 

  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings, according to company standards

 

  • Support with admin-based tasks, such as processing contracts, user/client setups and infrequently supporting the Customer Service team

 

 

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ideally comfortable in a consultative, client-facing environment

 

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions based on data

 

  • Experience with sales performance metrics and statistics

 

  • Ability to investigate, analyse & solve problems, and clearly communicate results

 

  • MS Office fluency, including Excel pivot tables & chart making.

 

  • Confident nature, good presentation skills and interpersonal skills

 

  • A motivated, self-starter with a flexible ‘can do' attitude, high energy and drive

 

  • Excellent communication, organisation and prioritisation skills

 

  • Ability to drive, with a clean driving licence and available to travel when required

 

  • Knowledge of the FMCG wholesale/retail industry preferable (but not required)
