ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Technical Business Analyst role requires dedication, detailed work, and integrity. The right person would need to be adept in the business analysis tools, technical documentation and have solid experience in the IT field.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role, you’ll get to…

  • establish and document business processes
  • perform requirement elicitation through different channels of discovery
  • assist in requirement planning and management
  • perform requirement analysis and documentation
  • identify business process gaps and align solutions to project goals
  • support the project team using business analysis tools
  • establish communication services across stakeholders
  • participate in daily stand-ups and capture information
  • assist in grooming/sizing of stories
  • facilitate testing/product performance recording
  • detail product reviews and releases
  • obtain clear knowledge of business processes to effectively support the team
  • complete project deliverables with quality and in a timely manner
  • organizes and manages project deliverables as may be required by the project team
  • maintain the storage and retrieval of all project communications data and business metrics, as applicable
  • perform other adhoc tasks related to the role

REQUIREMENTS:

On day one, we’ll expect you to …

  • have 3+ years experience in Business Analysis field
  • have 5 years minimum experience in the Information Technology industry
  • have a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or relevant field required
  • have the ability to analyze, map, and document business processes
  • be knowledgeable in business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods
  • have experience in business analysis tools
  • have the ability to facilitate testing/product performance recording
  • be able to create technical documentation for IT projects
  • have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • have mastery of Microsoft Office applications like Excel and Powerpoint
  • have a fully functional and up-to-date computer with which to perform duties
  • be willing to install and use a time keeping software while performing the work for the team
  • be willing to install next-generation endpoint protection on the computer
  • have a stable internet connection to perform the assigned work duties
  • be a current resident of the Philippines and can perform work from there
  • be able to work for up to  20-40 hours per week between 8am to 5pm US Pacific business hours (12am-9am Philippine time)
  • be willing to undergo a 90-days probationary period upon initial hire
