Job Description

Overview

The Director of Product Marketing will help develop go-to-market (GTM) strategies for Intentsify's portfolio of data solutions, intelligence tools, and demand activation programs. Working closely with marketing and product leadership (as well as other key stakeholders) and building out a team of product marketing managers, this role will ensure all internal, revenue-focused teams are properly armed to communicate Intentsify's continuously evolving solutions portfolio to customers and prospects.  

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Establish the go-to-market strategy and achieve alignment for the strategy across the organization
  • Develop deep understanding of Intentsify's various buying audiences by conducting research and gather insights about target personas, buyer needs, and the purchasing decision process for the organization's products
  • Drive an audience-centric marketing approach within the organization, ensuring that messaging, content, sales-enablement tools, and campaign strategies are centered around buyer and customer needs
  • Oversee and provide direction for market segmentation and targeting in order to define the market opportunities for the solutions portfolio and partner with product management leaders to build business cases for expanding market presence or entering new markets
  • Oversee and provide input into the process for creating product positioning, value propositions and messaging that resonates with the buying audience; ensure that product marketing managers are providing source messaging documents for use by downstream marketing functions such as demand and content teams
  • Develop the competitive positioning for the product portfolio by using competitive analysis and input from product marketing and product management managers
  • Partner with product and sales leaders to plan routes to market and ensure that product marketing managers collaborate with sales enablement/training to produce revenue enablement plans for the solutions portfolio
  • Oversee the product portfolio launch strategy and launch planning, collaborate with product to apply a launch process; ensure launches are integrated with campaigns
  • Oversee and provide input into the process for developing customer references, testimonials and case studies for external and internal use
  • Establish strategies to drive retention, upsell and cross-sell for the solutions portfolio
  • Ensure that product marketing managers follow a consistent process for conducting win/loss interviews and ongoing analysis to determine customer product adoption
  • Provide leadership, direction, and mentoring to guide the product marketing managers
  • Conduct routine assessments of the organization's go-to-market processes and address gaps in performance

Background/Experience

  • Five to 10 years' experience in B2B product marketing
  • Prior experience working at a rapidly growing B2B tech startup
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, marketing, or related field
  • Preferred: Experience working with intent data and/or for a B2B data provider
  • Preferred: Management experience including the ability to build and grow a team
