Job Purpose: As a Director of Sales Development, you’ll be responsible for managing and motivating a team of highly driven and enthusiastic Sales Development Representatives. In this role you will be required to build a winning strategy, set goals, and measure performance against weekly, monthly and quarterly objectives.

< class="h3">  < class="h3">What You Will Do:
  • Ongoing hiring, mentoring and development of SDR Managers and SDR’s which includes recruiting, hiring, and training new members
  • Develop the sales, product and industry skills of each team member
  • Motivate team members through creative incentives
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting on prospecting statistics, MQL follow up, number of quality meetings set and held, effectiveness of conversions from meetings set to closed business
  • Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency and productivity
  • Partner with senior sales management, marketing and other business partners to develop a successful prospecting outreach strategy
  • Refine and evolve a scalable, measurable, and predictable process for running and growing the team
  • Hire and train a team of Sales Development Representatives
  • Ensure iniduals and team are achieving the highest levels of productivity and performance against sales representative goals
  • Work with Marketing to ensure campaigns and programs are built with an understanding of key sales priorities and follow up
  • Collaborate with Demand Generation and Sales to align team process and strategy for territory/named account targets
  • Work closely with Sales/Revenue Ops to provide insights, metrics and recommendations
  • Establish, document, and maintain best practices, tools and processes for outbound prospecting and Inbound lead qualification
  • Track performance through qualitative and quantitative means with the goal of driving high performance, accountability, focus, efficiency and pipeline growth from outbound prospecting
  • Provide motivation, coaching, skills development and product knowledge development for the sales development team
  • Develop creative recognition and motivation programs that focus the team, incent goal

 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience in SaaS
  • Must have direct experience managing a team of SDRs/BDR
  • Consistent track record of 100%+ quota achievement as an SDR Manager
  • Strong verbal and written skills to help coach and improve SDR outreach
  • Proven track record of scaling SDR teams
  • Experienced in hiring and working in a rapidly growing environment
  • High level of self-motivation, ownership, adaptability, with ability to handle multiple responsibilities
  • Willingness to work with people of erse backgrounds and experiences
