About the role

 

Discovering products bets, demonstrating high level skills in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through uncertainty

Engaging frequently (80%) with the data science team; facilitating collaboration and providing clarification on feature acceptance criteria, testing and validation

Owning and managing the product backlog; continuously prioritising to make sure 2 sprints of backlog are always ready

Collaborating with other product teams, demonstrating deep understanding of technology stack and impact on final product

Working with the customer success team in conducting customer and stakeholder interviews to build an understanding of the client’s needs

Liaising with multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment between customer, product manager and engineering team

Demonstrating excellent business acumen, knowing latest industry trends and being looked at as an internal expert on the product and the market

Requirements

About you

Have a Bachelor's Degree in petroleum engineering, geoscience or a related field with working experience in the upstream oil & gas industry

Have strong knowledge of one of the following: multiphase flow in pipes, well integrity or sand production in wells

Have working experience or familiarity with distributed acoustic and temperature (DAS & DTS) data, underwater acoustics and/or thermodynamics

Working knowledge of AI & ML tasks and techniques.

Have working experience with Agile methodologies

Have a professional proficiency in English

In addition, it would be nice to:

Some understanding of signal processing

Have an advanced degree (MSc) in a relevant discipline
