Meet The Guru

Resource Guru was born when two people, working in a digital agency, were grappling with a problem that didn’t seem to have any decent solutions. 10 years on, we have a leading scheduling app that is changing the way teams manage time across the globe. We have some incredible customers including CNN, GoDaddy, King, Superdry, L’Oral, Lufthansa, GE and Capgemini. They all trust Resource Guru to handle one of their most precious assets – their people’s time.

We are a small, remote team with employees in the UK and Europe. You would be free to work from anywhere with a good internet connection and a 4-hour time overlap with GMT business hours. We live in Slack, have daily video standups and some of us like to meet up occasionally to work together from coworking spaces. We’re a friendly bunch and we’d love to welcome you to the team!

In Brief

Are you passionate about driving growth in organic traffic for a fast-growing SaaS business? Do you know how to perform a full keyword landscape review, reveal the opportunities and draw up a fully-fledged SEO content strategy? If so, this role is for you. You’ll partner with our content and product marketing teams to ensure their output is primed for success. You’ll be very autonomous and driven, capable of both analytical and creative thinking. You will also have good interpersonal skills that enable you to build close relationships with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders. • Build an SEO content roadmap which includes post refreshes, experiments and technical initiatives to achieve month on month gains to our organic traffic and free trials.
  • Set goals with marketing to help them achieve their objectives and ensure all site updates have been considered from an SEO perspective.
  • Track our priority keywords and report to key stakeholders on a monthly basis.

From Our Team…

“Outside of team stand-ups and team meetings, I am trusted to manage my own workload and simply get on with it. Help and guidance is there if and when needed. This level of trust and autonomy means I have been able to do some of the best work of my life and really help build a great product.”

– Paul, QA Lead

At Resource Guru I’m trusted to do the job I was hired for it sounds simple but it’s actually quite rare! That means I can focus on the areas of marketing I’m really passionate about and I have the flexibility to work when and where I’m most efficient so it’s easy for me to keep a healthy work-life balance. Within our marketing team we collaborate closely on some projects and work fully autonomously on others, so I can focus when I need to, and lean on the expertise of my colleagues at other times. It offers a nice mix of working styles that suits both sides of my personality!
