In a time of unprecedented expansion, we are seeking an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) Territory Assistant Manager. The Assistant Manager will oversee each ISR and will also be responsible for driving the team’s sales, performance goals and activity rates. Through coaching and development, you will support a world-class team while ensuring Inside Sales continues to grow market share and penetration within defined territories. The position requires developing and modifying sales strategies to drive performance within the team and department, as well as managing professional growth through hiring, onboarding, coaching, training and periodic reviews. The ideal candidate has a history of exceeding key performance indicators and sales goals within an Inside Sales role. A day on the job looks like this: 

  • Setting clear expectations, providing direction, engaging in mentorship and offering strategies to drive performance across the department 
  • Analyzing report metrics and providing feedback to each ISR to boost sales, performance and overall productivity 
  • Developing the team to build strong relationships with school districts, early childhood centers and community-based organizations 
  • Supporting the hosting of virtual product presentations designed to familiarize customers with proprietary services (Complete Classrooms®, professional development, Custom Solutions, etc.)  
  • Partnering with outside sales, retail and our own Professional Services Group to support educator needs 
  • Providing coaching and training on a daily basis  
  • Conducting weekly meetings with respective groups to discuss department initiatives and strategies  
  • Supporting the team with operational tasks, best practices and product/sales knowledge  
  • Partnering with leadership to discuss operational and department concerns

Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • 1+ year of Inside Sales or relevant experience with a proven track record of success in a leadership role  
  • Strong supervisory skills and knowledge of Inside Sales functions, systems and best practices 
  • Top-notch verbal and written communication skills supporting a collaborative environment  
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus  
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) preferred  
  • Ability to recognize and communicate issues to team members and management  
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback  
  • Ability to coach, motivate and encourage team members  
  • Strong work ethic, team-player mentality and ability to perform outstanding work from home  
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
