We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our growing digital marketing agency, based in Toronto. Great opportunity for someone willing to learn the ins and outs of digital marketing and grow with the company. You will drive our business growth through cold calling and collaboration with our email outreach specialists. The ideal candidate must have a passion for sales and the drive to progress into a Senior Account Manager position, managing and nurturing relationships with new and existing clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new business opportunities through various channels.
  • Cold Calling: Proactively reach out to potential clients, introducing our services and scheduling meetings. Training and guidance provided.
  • Assisting in Sales Presentations: Accompany senior account manager to deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and current clients.
  • Collaboration with our team: Work closely with our email outreach specialists and designers to ensure a cohesive and effective lead generation strategy.
  • Sales Tracking: Effectively track and report on sales activities and opportunities using our CRM system.
  • Goal Achievement: Work towards defined sales goals and quotas, reporting on progress and success on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

  • Positive and proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within a digital marketing context.
  • Experience with cold calling and lead generation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong drive to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
