Legl is a fast-growing, vertical B2B SaaS platform with a mission to bring the legal industry into the 21st century.

We're making legal services simpler for everyone: changing the way that firms take on new clients, making it easy to pay for legal services, driving data and insights for law firms, and ensuring that everyone can seamlessly access the law.

Our culture is collaborative, ambitious, agile and not ego-driven. With deep experience across design, tech and legal-tech, we put our employees first and we’re looking for people who can grow with us.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who can shape and drive the roadmap on our Payments product. Come and join the Legl Product Team as we work to transform the way law firms get paid and engage with their clients.

About the Product Team

We are a fast-moving, iterative, data-driven Product Team focussed on outcomes. Our fast-growing team is made up of creative problem solvers who are advocates for our customers and inclusive experiences that drive value for our end users.

Across the product life cycle, we work closely with design, engineering, sales, and customer experience to ensure we go beyond building great products and are solving the right problems at the right times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Converting insights into strategy, by deeply understanding our market, customers, technology and competition.
  • Focusing on delivering value and outcomes over outputs, and on reporting the impact your product is making among customers and Legl.
  • Driving product development for Payments with Design, Data and Engineering, from idea to launch.
  • Collaborating with Customers, Leadership and our Sales, Customer Success and Product Marketing teams to ensure the short- and long-term roadmap is correctly prioritised.
  • Meeting your commitments on time and over-achieving your goals.
  • Promoting visibility and transparency of your product initiatives.
  • Drive the company’s payments and vendor management strategy as it relates to payments.

Requirements

What you’ve done:

  • 2+ years Payments and/or Fintech experience building B2B2C products
  • Experience in the Payments space across the ecosystem, working with various partners such as PISPs, AISPs and familiarity with different Payment Rails
  • You have worked closely with customers and developed a strong customer focus.
  • You have worked directly with data and used it to inform product decisions.
  • You have regularly prototyped/visualised and presented your thoughts, and taken constructive feedback.
  • You’ve taken ownership of the product discovery and delivery process and worked as a self-directed member of the development team.
  • You’ve worked in a high growth company, where you have seen first-hand the ambition, collaboration and agility that can enable a team of smart people to change an industry.

What you’re like:

  • You love to solve problems and be challenged to consider all possible angles.
  • You are comfortable working closely with designers and engineers and with a short development cycle.
  • You are a constant and proactive learner. You will be always growing - both personally and with the team.
  • You strive to be a pioneer of new techniques and approaches.
  • Have a proven record of prioritising and making decisions backed by quantitative and qualitative insights, as well as market research.
  • A proficient communicator (both written and verbal) and have high attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong commercial mindset and focus on the impact of your work to the business as a whole.
  • Passionate about what you do and want to have fun doing it.

Benefits

We are intentionally remote-first, post-Covid, and we are intentional about building a culture that enables us to attract and retain the best, most erse talent.

Benefits include:

  • Competitive salary
  • Generous share options – we all share in Legl’s success
  • Opportunity to join post-Series A startup with product-market-fit to grow, expand and scale, in our mission to make legal services better for everyone.
  • A focus on wellbeing, with a personal wellbeing budget
  • Frequent networking events and industry talks, team lunches and offsites
  • A dynamic, remote-first culture, where we focus on making work work for you. We give generous budgets for home set-ups, co-working space use if you need or want it, office spaces for collaboration in person.

Interview Process

In this growth phase, it’s more important than ever that we hire exceptional people to join our team, so our bar is both extremely high and highly specific.

Our interview process is designed to give us really high confidence in your ability, and to give you really high confidence that the role, team and opportunity are right for you.

We also know that interviews can be stressful, so we've designed our interview process to be as fair, friendly and responsive as possible. We will always let you know what to expect at each stage.

We appreciate the time commitment we’re asking from you. Our commitments in return are:

  • To get back to you quickly at every stage
  • To give as much useful feedback as we can after your interview
  • To schedule interviews at times that work for you - early mornings, lunchtime, evenings are all fair game

We welcome feedback. Let us know if you have any comments on the process in your application.

Diversity

We believe in having erse teams in which everyone can be their authentic self is key to our success. We encourage people from underrepresented backgrounds to apply and we don’t discriminate.
