We’re looking to hire a Marketing Lead with expertise in Blockchain marketing and growth strategy to expand our Marketing and Communications team.
Our stack is Ethereum-like, so familiarity with – and passion for – the space is key.
Some of the areas we tackle include blockchain infrastructure optimised for financial use-cases, protocols for specific applications (such as smart contract-based derivatives, synthetic assets, cryptocurrency stabilization…), scalability and privacy through cryptography (zkSNARKs, multiparty computation, private transactions/assets).
Currently the Clearmatics team is heavily involved as the Launch Partner for the Autonity Project. About You
We are looking for a Marketing Lead with in-depth knowledge of Layer 1 protocols and DeFi communities and how they are marketed. Almost 100% of the work you will be doing is for the Autonity Project, rather then Clearmatics itself.
You are results driven and highly proactive – you know how to get things done and you’re not afraid to think outside the box. You have a wide range of experience in all aspects of marketing alongside an excellent understanding of go-to-market strategies for a blockchain and/or DeFi project. As an expert growth strategist, you know how to grow highly specialised and technical communities and audiences. You are passionate about Blockchain and Financial Technology and have a proven track record in a regulated sector and startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead all marketing initiatives, taking responsibility for Autonity’s growth and visibility
- Develop, implement, and lead successful and innovative go-to-market (GTM) and growth strategies by collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Develop methods for data-driven decision-making; set growth metrics for campaigns, engagement and events, and communicate effectively about the analytical insight
- Oversee and lead the growth, management, and content strategy of Autonity’s social media and community (X, Medium, Discord, Linkedin and Telegram), promoting high engagement and product loyalty
- Grow Autonity’s product and brand awareness and generate hype within Blockchain and DeFi spaces
- Structure and launch new programs, events, campaigns, and initiatives focused on growth marketing and branding, identify effective marketing collaborations to maximum amplification
- Work closely with the CEO and leadership from other functions (e.g. Engineering and Operations) to ensure that Marketing is aligned with the overall business strategy and goals
- Manage and optimise marketing resources in a startup environment, allocating resources effectively for maximum impact
Requirements
- Essential for Application Success - Experience marketing specifically for a Layer 1 Blockchain, Decentralised Finance, or a Derivatives Project
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
- 5+ years of direct marketing experience, with a proven track record in Blockchain marketing
- In-depth knowledge of Layer 1 blockchain networks and DeFi, bonus points for derivatives
- Proven track record marketing to niche, highly technical, and hard to reach communities
- Proven experience bringing innovative solutions and ideas to solve complicated challenges
- Identify critical priorities that lead to growth opportunities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and seamlessly, and meet deadlines
