ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Operations Specialist to join our growing team. The Marketing Operations Specialist will work closely with the marketing operations team to assist and support daily functions as they relate to enhancing marketing work methods and system processes. You will be responsible for maintaining collaboration within marketing operations and the global marketing team to demonstrate a positive impact on marketing efficiency and effectiveness. Partnering with other cross-functional groups, you will ensure the stability and progression of valuable information through data quality and governance as it relates to the flow of lead generation. This role will focus specifically on support, response, and enablement, allowing the core marketing team to concentrate on achieving marketing targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with technical aspects of key marketing automation systems (HubSpot, Salesforce), with ability to troubleshoot and solve data sync issues and larger scale processes changes.
  • Field operations ticketing system for incoming global requests, incidents, and quality assurance; develop enablement plan for creating more self-sufficient work methods.
  • Assist with quarterly reporting insights as it relates to marketing ops response and support, providing details on where issues most occurred, and make recommendations for solution-based processes that limit marketing ops support intervention.
  • Assist system data quality governance as it relates to lead flow, ensuring seamless syncing between marketing campaigns, marketing qualified leads, and all tracking information.
  • Work with Marketing Operations managers to create a comprehensive training plan for best practices and guidance that enables the global marketing team to maintain competencies in core processes and technologies.
  • Develop relationships between Demand Gen, Field Marketing, Campaign and Digital teams maintaining cross-functional collaboration and discussion as it relates to team processes.
  • Track and analyze marketing performance metrics and make data-driven assumptions on why trends are occurring and recommendations on how to improve results.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in marketing technology and marketing operations, identify and implement where applicable.
  • Execute ad-hoc projects as necessary.

QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

Formal Education and Certification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Technology, or related field
  • 1 3 years professional experience, working in Business Administration, Marketing, or Operations

Knowledge and Experience

  • Strong understanding of marketing technology, tools, and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce or equivalent
  • Excellent project management skills, including ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Impeccable organization skills with analytical mindset
  • Experience working with and presenting to global marketing team
  • Deep understanding of lead generation flow and process
  • Passion for process management, marketing technology and operations
  • Attention to detail, while delivering against tight deadlines
  • Ability to work with cross-functional and global teams
  • Technical writing skills, with experience in enabling and training others
