We’re looking for someone to work with us on the next generation of Free to Play blockchain games. The next generation of games will focus on user generated and owned content in service of great gameplay. We are looking for someone to help us form a strategy that both embraces W3 and matches our market - the mass market consumer game player.

Gallium Studios is an independent studio of industry veterans started by Will Wright. We develop original games in the simulation and strategy genre with rich artistic content, a player-first perspective, and an emphasis on player creation and ownership.

This is a remote work position. The studio is in Berkeley, CA so the ideal candidate would be located in the Pacific or Mountain time zones. The candidate also needs to have access to high-speed internet and be able to coordinate via video conferences with team members.

Key Duties:

  • Lead W3 marketing and strategy research
  • Create compelling go-to-market strategies that speak to our players
  • Research, plan, propose and execute web3 marketing strategies
  • Work with internal design teams to craft strategies into game play
  • Coordinate efforts with our community manager

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in marketing and social media of Free to Play games
  • Experience in Blockchain/Defi/Gamefi/NFTs/Web 3
  • Experience with community development
  • Experience in researching and presenting marketing strategies
  • Familiarity with Discord, Twitter and Telegram
  • Motivated, creative, self-starter
