< class="h3">Job Description

Position Overview:

As a Sales Ops Coordinator, you will be a key member of the Deal Desk team as part of the Sales Operations Team.  You will review closed deals in Salesforce completed by Sales to ensure they are completed properly.  You will create Accounts in the custom Nearpod Backend system and in Salesforce.  You will work closely with the Deal Desk Team (3 other team members) to solve complex deals that Sales brings to daily Deal Desk Zoom meetings.  Additional duties in Salesforce, Tableau and Gainsight are available as well. 

 

Our Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Review Sales Closed Won deals in Salesforce to ensure that me company defined standards for how deals need to be configured

  • Sheppard the Sales team through the Sales Closed process when their deals do not meet defined Salesforce standards

  • Coordinate with Finance, Auditing, Legal, Fulfillment and Sales to ensure Closed Won Processes are followed by Sales

  • Create Accounts in the custom Nearpod backend and Salesforce

  • Resolve complex ticket requests from Sales regarding how to get their deals into Salesforce properly

  • Manage the quality of the data gathered, stored and used by the organization

  • Documenting and enforcing rules around data collection, storage and creation

  • Executing the policies and standards established by Sales Operations team

  • Assist with building the compliance standards for order management

  • Define and optimize data management approval workflows to reduce risk and increase compliance

  • Cleanse and consolidate any inaccurate and duplicate records

  • Utilize tools, such as Salesforce, to research, identify data quality issues and trends.

  • Support other sales operations efforts as assigned - Other core expectations as defined and requested by your direct supervisor/manager 

< class="h3">Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience using CRMs is preferred but not required

  • Clearly demonstrates an aptitude and acumen of a high performing contributor with visible/measurable results from previous efforts

  • Positive attitude with an ability to absorb & learn quickly

  • Passionate about progress and willing to go the extra mile

  • A strong team player, demonstrating commitment, integrity, transparency, taking responsibility and building trust

  • Ability to work to the highest accuracy in demanding situations under time constraints using a nimble, creative and proactive approach

  • Preferred experience in an operational or finance roles 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred but not required

  • College Degree, i.e Associates or Bachelors is preferred but not required
