We value flexibility, adaptability, and a good sense of humor.     The Program Officer–Ukraine will be responsible for guiding and maintaining the Ukraine program's direction, coordinating a cross-functional team throughout all phases of program implementation, and facilitating communications between all company units to ensure program objectives are met. Strategy formulation; financial and operational risk management; and stakeholder engagement will be essential responsibilities. This position will report directly to the Co-Founder & COO.   This position is located in Ukraine, with a salary range of $85,000 - $100,000 USD.   • Project Management & Strategy:
  • Facilitate ongoing strategy formulation in an extremely dynamic environment, including product discovery and research to inform solution development.
  • Maintain the program’s strategic direction, and participate in cross-program strategy reviews within the company.
  • Manage internal coordination across teams/departments.
  • Work closely with the Country Director, Implementation Director, Operations Director, Associate Director of Accountability, and Executive Team to build out the program work plans, partnership performance matrixes, and engagement contract documentation.
  • Ensure program objectives and reporting requirements are met according to program timelines.
  • Coordinate with the donor entity regarding program management and implementation.
  • Coordinate and attend international stakeholder meetings supporting and related to the program, working with the appropriate internal thematic leads and departments (e.g., Accountability, Product, Engineering, Business Development, Finance).
  • Own the drafting and information collection for outgoing program artifacts and documents, including funding proposals, grant reporting documents, and donor/stakeholder briefings.
  • Support recruitment of new team members and partners. 
  • Support the Compliance Team to implement financial due diligence processes for partners.
 
  • Financial Management & Sustainability:
  • Manage overall budget spending and labor allocations.
  • Provide sign-off for purchase requests to support overall planning and forecasting.
  • Chair periodic budget “forecast vs. actuals” meetings with team leads and compliance/grants management representatives to review program spending.
  • Lead forecasting and budget realignments that are needed with support from the Compliance Team.
  • Coordinate with all teams for budget development and financial reporting to meet internal and donor-driven programmatic deadlines.
  • Act as a program lead for business development proposals for continuing business.
