Title: Senior Product Designer UX/UI

Reporting to: Lead Product Designer

Location: Remote and London

Role brief

You will be part of our growing UX design team to help build sensor visualisation platforms (SaaS) all the while focussing on making our products more intuitive, seamless & compelling for our users

Develop the overall design and specifications for creating and enhancing the experience and functionality of user interfaces for our product software

Help the team create, build and maintain the design system UI component library

Implement web accessibility standards into designs

Execute and lead the full UX design process end-to-end with autonomy on given projects.

 

About the role

Collecting, collating & reviewing user and customer feedback

UX Research, qualitative, quantitative data analysis

Requirement gathering with stakeholders to understand client needs

Design reviews with stakeholders

Creating personas, user journey maps and user flows

Building mock-ups and wireframes to test new ideas with users/validate features

Clearly communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers

Reviews proposed product changes or enhancements for compliance and alignment with desired user experience design and satisfaction standards and suggests improvements

Establishing and maintaining usability metrics

Requirements

About you:

Passionate and experienced in solving complex user problems in software systems and visualising these with design consistency

Strong portfolio of UX design projects demonstrating insights, problem solving and solutions

Proficient in design software (e.g. Figma) and user testing tools (e.g. Hotjar or equivalent)

A deep understand of design

Excellent written English and verbal English

Great interpersonal and communication skills

Strong organisational skills

Keep up to data with the latest UX/UI design trends
