In this role, you will be responsible for more complex components and features of the product. You will work towards becoming a subject matter expert in your area, sharing your knowledge and insights with the team, and contributing significantly to the technical strategy of the product.Key Responsibilities:* Take responsibility for the overall architecture and design of key product components.* Actively become a subject matter expert in your designated area, staying updated with the latest trends and technologies.* Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into understandable language.* Lead the technical strategy for medium to large components of the product, driving their implementation and ensuring alignment with business goals.* Write clean, efficient, and robust code employing relevant design patterns and best practices.* Operate with increased autonomy, requiring less guidance, and efficiently manage your workload.* Participate in the team’s on-call process if applicable, demonstrating reliability and problem-solving skills.* Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, upholding high standards in code quality and delivery. About You* Technical expertise: 3+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong foundation in software architecture and design principles.* Leadership and initiative: Demonstrated ability to take initiative, leading projects or components with minimal supervision.* Communication skills: Strong communication abilities to effectively interact with different teams and stakeholders.* Problem-solving and innovation: Proven track record of addressing complex technical challenges, proposing innovative solutions, and making impactful contributions.* Continuous learning and mentoring: Eagerness to learn continuously and share knowledge with team members, helping in their development.* Team collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively within and across teams, contributing positively to team dynamics and project success.In this role, you will be instrumental in driving forward the technical aspects of our product, leveraging your skills and experience to make a significant impact on Carta’s success. #Salary and compensation
