GRAPHIC DESIGNER III (DIGITAL)

The Graphic Designer III will work within CamelBak’s Creative team to provide top level digital design in a highly collaborative creative work environment. This role works alongside the Ecommerce and Brand Marketing teams in the ideation, conceptualization, design, and development of creative content for digital marketing initiatives and website experiences. This position is a pivotal role within the marketing organization, and requires an experienced, creative, and motivated Graphic Designer to provide forward thinking creative development grounded in their digital expertise.In this role, you will have a strong hand in shaping and executing CamelBak’s visual brand direction across all B2B & B2C digital touchpoints.

You are primarily responsible for developing design solutions from conception through implementation that translate and support our CamelBak brand, e-commerce traffic and growth strategy. You should be able to visually tell stories and create concepts that connect copy and visuals in a clever and interesting way, all while driving our unique brand positioning and strong calls to action. You have experience working with retail brands in the digital space and can easily put yourself in the mind of our consumer to create highly engaging, accessible, and inclusive digital content.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND PRIORITIES

  • Work with the creative, ecommerce and marketing teams to design and develop consumer facing digital marketing touchpoints such as website merchandising assets, landing pages, enhanced product page content,digital ads, emails from concept development, through wireframe, to delivery of final design files.
  • Create visual and digital graphic deliverables, focusing on social media (paid and organic), on-site placements, and email design (single image, animation, GIFs).
  • Work with the Ecommerce/Digital team and development team to test, build, and integrate best in class seamless digital shopping experiences that elevate our brand presence and focus on creating frictionless consumer experiences
  • Present your ideas, direction, and feedback in a compelling manner with strategic rationale for decisions and choices. This includes managing through feedback in a positive and productive manner and pivoting with the needs of the business.
  • Ensure that project deliverables are well executed, on brief and on schedule.
  • Keep up to date with digital innovations.Maintain a regular pulse on outdoor industry and competitive landscape.
  • Partner closely with project stakeholders to ensure a holistic understanding of each project’s objectives and ensure we are meeting the strategic business needs. Proactively seeking an understanding for our functional capabilities/limitations that push our creative boundaries and keep our content fresh and current. Responsible for maintaining consistency of all assets and assuring they meet brand guidelines.

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • An expert in design and relevant tools used (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma), GIF animations. Video & Audio editing a plus.
  • Proven experience developing world class digital consumer touchpoints through email, brand, and DTC channels.
  • Experience and understanding of content implementations on website platforms such as Salesforce Commerce & Marketing Cloud
  • Experience with Salsfiy or other comparable PIMs, Widen or other comparable Digital Asset Management Systems
  • A collaborative approach to all projects and a passion for understanding communication preferences, navigating different types of conversations and situations with ease.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and able to think and work beyond the creative brief.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.Detail oriented is a must.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.Able to articulate design direction with clear and concise rationale in a way that inspires.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Four-year Bachelor of Arts from an accredited university or two-year associate degree from an art/design vocational college.
  • 6+ years’ experience working at a world class agency or brand as part of marketing, creative, and digital team.
  • Design experience in digital design focused on one or more of the following: E-Commerce web design, UX/UI, paid social, emails, and/or responsive design for web (mobile and desktop)
  • Experience working with internal creative teams, navigating projects to completion, helping manage, and creating strong working relationships.
  • Knowledge of modern marketing and technology, and the ability to quickly understand complex concepts and explain to stakeholders.
  • Experience working with data, analytics, and research to iterate and test.
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations that clearly articulate and demonstrate inputs, process, and decision making in relation to recommended end results.
  • A portfolio of work demonstrating experience leading the design of creative across multiple platforms including e-commerce, mobile and social media.
  • Outdoor Industry experience is a plus.
  • Sales Force Commerce Cloud and Marketing Cloud experience

Pay Range:

$69,700.00 – $104,500.00
