Lifeblue is a full-service digital agency and Certified B Corporation that’s proud to boast end-to-end web development, design, marketing, and content services, as well as a growing product arm of our business: Turnstyle.

Our remote-first team works with incredible partners ranging from NBA teams to Heifer International and the Country Music Hall of Fame. In joining our vibrant, collaborative group, you’ll become part of Lifeblue’s 15-year legacy of humanizing digital experiences.

Who you are

Are you passionate about creating visual solutions that serve the intersection of business, technology, and human interaction? As a Digital Experience Designer at Lifeblue, you'll get to leverage these passions to deliver meaningful web experiences that make a positive impact.

Our ideal candidate understands that design is more than just aesthetics – it solves real needs – that are best served through inclusive design that incorporates accessibility best practices.

What you'll do

  • Participate in and occasionally lead brainstorming sessions with cross-functional teams to design solutions
  • Balance client business needs with user needs to deliver impactful solutions within budget
  • Work with clients to ensure designs meet their standards while championing their brand guidelines with internal teams
  • Sketch high-level ideas, make mood boards, create wireframes, draft comps and develop style guides, as well as artwork and other elements as needed
  • Validate design solutions by creating testable high-fidelity functional prototypes as needed for user testing
  • Work closely with front-end developers to define and maintain design systems, providing a cohesive user experience through consistent UI patterns and components
  • Create and deliver polished design presentations for internal meetings and client review

What you’ll need

  • 5+ years of UX/UI design experience in web design, digital experiences or software products
  • A strong online portfolio representing the range of your design skills and interactive work experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe XD (or similar UX/UI design, prototyping and collaboration tools such as Sketch or Figma), Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Experience creating prototypes, as well as other interactive or animation mockups
  • Ability to utilize accessibility tools to make projects more inclusive
  • An eagerness to contribute, support and empower other team members with guidance that’s both solution-oriented and empathetic

Bonus Points

  • Solid communication skills that strengthen a collaborative, remote-first team
  • Degree in UX/UI design, human-computer interaction design, or related field
  • A curiosity about other parts of web development
  • A track record of iterating quickly on major product features
