Looma Background

Looma exists to connect shoppers to the people and stories behind food & beverage products. Our first product, Loop™ At-Shelf Maker Stories, is a network of smart tablets in grocery stores that play short, human-centric films connecting producer to consumer. The data generated by Loop™ fuels our proprietary film production and optimization processes, forming a flywheel we believe will one day power the world's most sophisticated platform for human-centric point-of-decision video.

Position Summary

The Creative Traffic Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the work of Looma's Communications & Creative department is executed on time with a high degree of polish, by effectively managing two primary pipelines — Design and Content Innovation — and connecting internal stakeholders with creatives as needed to keep projects on track. Content Innovation refers to experimental video content typically handled in-house rather than through our filmmaker network, and Design includes graphic and experiential work ranging from physical decor and sales decks to client-facing dashboards and brand assets.

Reporting to the Chief Creative Officer, the CTC will oversee both Design and Content Innovation pipelines, setting a schedule of deadlines, assigning stakeholders to each necessary step of the process, and prioritizing work on the fly to ensure objectives are met. The CTC will also be responsible for organizing and managing our asset library, sourcing or curating content (i.e., photos, decks, design files) to support communications efforts org-wide, and supporting the Comms & Creative department as a whole.

The responsibilities for this role can be split into three primary categories:

  1. Pipeline Management: 75%
  2. Asset Management & Process Improvement: 15%
  3. Communications & Creative Department Support: 10%

Pipeline Management (75%)

  • Traffic and manage all projects on Looma's Design and Content Innovation Pipelines, communicating issues; driving progress, and managing relevant stakeholders
  • Initiate new projects within the Design and Content Innovation Pipelines; create timelines and tasks for the work to be done (future planning)
  • Manage timelines with the relevant stakeholders; adjusting as needed
  • Conduct a daily morning meeting with Sr. AD to go over items/tasks assigned and due for the day and determine if there are any roadblocks
  • Conduct a weekly status meeting with Chief Creative Officer, Sr. AD, and Lead Filmmaker
  • Curate & source content (such as photos, graphics, and links) for stakeholders or designers to keep projects humming along

Asset Management & Process Improvement (15%)

  • Maintain and manage project folders and maintenance with a high level of organizational hygiene
  • Identify tools, methods, and technologies which could improve and streamline processes as we scale up

Communications & Creative Department Support (10%)

  • Assist with content innovation efforts as needed, collaborating with our designers and filmmakers for content on Loop™
  • Liaise with accounting for invoicing when appropriate
  • Assist with priority work as needed. We're a small but mighty team, and we all wear different hats at times to get the work done!

Attributes

  • Superlative attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort liaising with stakeholders ranging from senior leadership to creative contractors
  • A passion for, and pride in, beauty and clarity in design
  • Excellent prioritization skills and the pragmatism to support tough prioritization decisions
  • An eye for good visual content
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and associated file types
  • Fluency with Asana (Looma & the Comms & Creative department's primary work management tool)

Structure & Compensation

Looma will provide a competitive compensation package consisting of base salary and stock options. All Looma compensation packages include cash / equity flexibility (i.e. you can opt for more equity and less cash or vice-versa).
