You will also work occasionally with Fortune 500 clients on designing and implementing Craft Platform-centered solutions.In this role, you willLead critical data platform architecture decisions across the whole Craft Data PlatformLead the vision and design of architectural roadmaps and data technology architecturesWork closely with Craft data engineers to deliver the strategy through clear leadership/direction while also building pieces yourself.Provide expertise on the overall data engineering best practices, standards, architectural approaches and complex technical resolutions* Strategize and lead delivery of complex client engagements by designing Craft Platform-centered solutions:* Understand client goals and objectives* Assess their current state and identify gaps* Develop high-priority use cases* Drive adoption of the Craft solution* Build and deploy Craft platform installations in the client’s cloud; integrate them with client data, authentication and application operations, including defining and executing deployment procedures.We’d love to hear from you if you have10+ years of experience in a Data Platform Architect or Solution Architect role in Data Engineering/Analytics-related businesses with various infrastructure technologies.Experience with technologies like Python,Airflow, distributed and streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis), ETL tools, CI/CD, Terraform, data modeling for transactional and reporting focuses, and Datawarehousing solutions.Experience building data-intensive applications in AWS (AWS Solutions Architect certification is a plus)Experience owning customer relations end-to-end, driving customers through data transformation, building roadmaps, and driving stakeholder alignment.Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences.Exceptional written and verbal communication of qualitative and quantitative business cases.Ability to define, identify and resolve problems with varying degrees of complexity. Prior experience at high-growth, venture-backed startups.A high-energy and action-oriented inidual with a passion for moving quickly.Our current technology stack* AWS Services: S3, Batch, Athena, Lambda, Kinesis, Kafka, Redshift, RDS / Aurora Postgres, DynamoDB* Data Pipelines: Python, SQL, Pandas, Dask, aws-data-wrangler, Papermill, Airflow, PrefectBenefits* Competitive Salary + Equity at a well-funded, fast-growing startup* Unlimited Vacation time so you can take what you need when you need it* Option to work 100% Remote or out of our San Francisco Office* 99% Covered Health + Dental + Vision insurance for employees and dependents* 401K through Human Interest with options to invest how you want it* $200 Monthly Wellness/Learning stipend (Gym memberships, meals, snacks, books, classes, conferences, etc.)* $1,000 Workstation Allowance (standing desk, chair, monitor, etc)#Salary and compensation
