​The Product and Services Designer will develop and support educational product design, and user experience interfaces. This Position will provide technical assistance and expertise to the internal education product development design and production ecosystem. This position will collaborate with school leadership, team members, and various organization key stakeholders to identify, define, develop and design compelling content that supports unique and differentiated educational experiences.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or 2 years equivalent work experience demonstrating applicable skills in content development or related field (equivalent experience is included in total years of professional experience) required

  • ​3 years of experience in product development and design or related experience
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, program development, organizing, prioritizing, coordinating, implementing, and managing multiple projects, tasks and building teams preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or 2 years equivalent work experience demonstrating applicable skills in content development or related field (equivalent experience is included in total years of professional experience) required
  • Experience with product design software, data management and user experience tools
  • Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • General understanding of public education programs or trends (i.e. Independent Study, Virtual/Distance Learning, Special Education, Career Technical Education) to engage multi-cultural learners
  • Ability of initiative, independent judgment, and service-oriented attitude

.Essential Functions:

Collaborate with school and stakeholders to identify define and improve products and services and educational content development opportunities that drives growth

  • Create and design content that clearly demonstrates organization’s value proposition
  • Support the creation, design and execution of educational content by identifying, collaborating, and executing both, long-term and short-term initiatives
  • Assist Director in developing repeatable playbooks for various types of content
  • Provide technical support and coordination to all aspects and phases of products and services and educational content development and design
  • Conduct usability testing, interface programming, and evaluate user experience for educational content, products and services
  • Align efforts to develop and improve product and service vision and roadmaps based on design process and user experience feedback from all stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Division leaders to strategically plan and cultivate a erse portfolio of educational products and services
  • Collaborate with the Content Development Team and all related stakeholders, including Subject Matter Experts to enable successful content development, design and outcomes
  • Support the progression of all creative educational development efforts that lead to the production of content and products
  • Advise on and support the continuous improvement efforts through monitoring and evaluation of products and services and Educational Content Development
  • Implement and champion design thinking methodologies on all projects, both in near and long-range stages of development
  • Create a consistent project management protocol that promotes collaboration and communication in project implementation
  • Provide regular reports on the status of major projects to key stakeholders and regional and organizational progress on goal attainment
  • Promote a culture of high-performance that values continuous improvement, learning and a commitment to quality
  • Research, plan, and support in grant writing opportunities that focus on educational content development, design, user interface and user experience
  • Participate in staff meetings and trainings
  • Administrative duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or changed from time to time​
