Density’s mission is to measure and improve our footprint on the world.   Density Atlas is a navigation system that helps users understand how their office space is used. Our platform gives real estate and workplace leaders the ability to explore their portfolios, identify over-performing and under-performing areas, and make data-driven adjustments. The result is a more sustainable footprint and better employee experience.   As a Staff Product Designer, you’ll work to define, create, and deliver all user-facing aspects of the Atlas product.

< class="h3">In this role you will:
  • Specialize in the Atlas product line and build a deep understanding of all stakeholders who manage and consume physical space at the companies we serve: workplace teams, real estate professionals, CFOs, design and construction teams, employees, etc
  • Partner with a tight-knit team of product designers, product managers, product analysts, data scientists, and engineers and provide design leadership for Density’s flagship product
  • Design early product concepts and partner with our product analytics and product management teams  to test concepts with end users
  • Participate in design reviews and share your work regularly with the design and company leadership

< class="h3">Minimum requirements:
  • 5+ years relevant product design experience
  • Have experience working on complex, interactive products (business or consumer)
  • Strong core product design skills: visual design, prototyping, interaction design, and information architecture
  • Can think in systems — i.e. what are shared patterns and behaviors beyond the current "use case"

< class="h3">Preferred qualifications:
  • Have experience with visualization, data science, or geospatial mapping technologies
  • You enjoy helping other designers learn and grow
  • Can effectively explain your work, process, and decisions to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Seek feedback from your cross-functional stakeholders and users to help you produce your best work
  • Are detail-oriented and sweat the tiniest elements that lead to a better end product

< class="h3">What we bring:
  • Excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, mental and reproductive health,  401K, equity, Flex Fridays, Remote Friendly, unlimited and mandatory PTO and more.
  • A work environment full of fun, smart, talented, dedicated, and truly kind teammates.
  • Our values: be humble, seek feedback, and always solve the fundamental problem. These values are hard to achieve but we aspire to them daily.
  • A team hailing from places like Apple, LinkedIn, Stripe, Meraki, Hashi Corp, WeWork, NASA, & beyond.
  • $227 million raised from investors like Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, and Upfront Ventures.
