The oppportunity

We are currently looking for a Senior UI/UX Design Lead (f/m/d/-) at our Munich office. You are an independent conceptual thinker with the ability to create eye-catching solutions. And you love translating ideas into outstanding design and digital products. But your really exceptional talent lies in your understanding of IA, your deep knowledge of UX conception and design, and your brilliant UI design skills – and how all of these contribute to an outstanding Customer Experience.

You are completely at home in collaborative and agile working models. You are familiar with platform design for big global brands, working comfortably within CI guidelines and leveraging existing or create new design systems. You know how to interpret data to improve an overall experience, and how success can be measured from a customer and a business point of view.

You will be a creative leader who is used to collaborating with your performance-lead and tech-lead colleagues to bring amazing journeys to life. Above all you will be adept at bringing your aesthetic awareness to life through the latest, best-in-class technology – guiding the user through a seamless and intuitive experience. Ideally, you are interested in associated areas like front/backend development, performance marketing and conversion optimisation and have the ability to bring them together.

We are looking for someone self-sufficient who is not afraid of pushing the envelope. In this position you have the opportunity to grow, to shape your work environment and support the overall business strategy of Iris.

What we're looking for?

  • Proven professional experience as a lead UX/UI designer within Marketing or Communications, preferably leading a team in some way
  • In-depth knowledge of User Centered Design, User Experience Design, Interface and Interaction Design
  • Ability to design Information Architecture as a contributor towards specific goals
  • Some ability to model and support customer journeys
  • Excellent skills in Sketch, Adobe CC & XD, Figma, Invision, JIRA, Confluence
  • Knowledge of Axure, InVision Studio or other UX design tools and platforms
  • Building high-fidelity prototypes (AXURE or Sketch Anima/Principle)
  • Experience in Agile models and sprint set-ups
  • Some knowledge of performance measurement / analytics would be an asset
  • Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS)
  • Fluent in English, German would be a plus
  • Familiarity with Confluence and JIRA
  • Self motivated, self-organised and collaborative
