As we scale our platform, we are seeking a Lead UI/UX Designer who possesses exceptional design skills, a creative mind, and a deep understanding of the digital user experience. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for creating user-centred designs that are innovative, intuitive, and enhance our product's usability.

Responsibilities:

1. Leadership: Collaborate and engage in a leadership role within a team of UI/UX designers, driving the creation of intuitive, top-quality designs from conception to final delivery.

2. Collaboration: Partner closely with the product, engineering, and marketing teams to align product design with our strategic objectives, user needs, and technological feasibility.

3. Design Development: Produce comprehensive design deliverables including wireframes, user flows, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and user interaction.

4. User Research: Conduct and analyse user research and usability testing to gather insights, validate design decisions, and drive continuous design improvement.

5. Design System: Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards to ensure a unified and consistent user experience across our product suite.

6. Technical Liaison: Work closely with developers to ensure the accurate translation of designs into the final product and troubleshoot any issues that emerge during development.

7. Industry Knowledge: Remain updated on the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies and integrate relevant ones into our design practices.

Requirements:

1. A bachelor’s degree in design, Computer Science, or a related field.

2. Proven track record as a UI/UX Designer, with an impressive portfolio demonstrating your creativity and skill.

3. Expertise in design software (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Figma) and basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

4. Solid understanding of responsive and mobile design principles.

5. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the capacity to articulate design concepts and rationale effectively.

6. Experience conducting user research and incorporating feedback into design revisions.

7. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to creating high-quality, user-centric designs.
