SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER — Part-time, contract position for Marketing

Part-time contract position within a distributed team. This position has potential to turn into a full-time role when the game launches in mid 2023.

ABOUT YOU (AS A HUMAN)

YOUR ROLE & IMPACT AS SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER IN MARKETING

A versatile senior designer, you have experience designing marketing materials (user acquisition ads, websites, promotional campaigns, etc.) for mobile games. You’re an independent thinker and are excited by the challenge of strategizing and executing captivating digital marketing content to engage millions of players. You have a deep understanding of graphic design and marketing principles to bring communication solutions to life:

  • Audience: You’ll visually engage a target audience so your design work appeals and motivates them to download, engage, and re-engage.
  • Acquisition: You’ll work closely with the senior marketing manager, user acquisition director, and creative teams to create marketing materials and campaigns that communicate product positioning and features to attract new customers across paid media, storefronts, social media, influencer campaigns and more.
  • Asset development and management: With creative, marketing, and project managers, you’ll oversee and manage all design elements, from the conception of materials, to delivery and documentation. This includes the ability to storyboard and develop key frames for the video editor.
  • Creative collaboration: You’ll work with other creatives to develop assets for advertising and public-­facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets.
  • Continuous Improvement: Test and iterate initiatives for continuous improvement.

Professionally you:

  • Have 5+ years experience in graphic design and digital marketing with a focus in technology, apps, and/or mobile gaming
  • Run marketing design projects across a variety of partners, countries, languages and channels
  • Have experience partnering with external agencies to design and build creative across channels and countries
  • Oversee all design elements, from the initial conception to final delivery
  • Have hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite and other design software
  • Use your strong eye for aesthetics and visual details to ensure a quality final product
  • Listen to design needs, come up with ideas and communicate them to stakeholders and other members of the team
  • Delegate design tasks and provide support for junior-level design team members
  • Maintain high standards of quality and make sure only the best work is released to clients
  • Collaborate across the organization to drive up standards of digital creativity

ABOUT THE JOB

As a contractor (20 hrs per week), you’ll report directly to the Marketing Team and collaborate with creative, UA marketing, and product teams to design marketing deliverables that acquire, engage, convert and retain players. This contract position has the potential to turn into a full-time role when the game launches in mid 2023.
