Littera Education is looking for part-time 100% virtual reading and/OR math tutors to join our Fall 2023 tutor pool for the upcoming school year as fingerprinted tutors. Littera will provide the fingerprinting details and cover the cost of your fingerprinting. As a tutor, you will be responsible for providing tutoring to K-6 students across the United States who need additional academic support.

We offer flexible scheduling, so you can choose your own hours to week based on your availability! Tutors at Littera enjoy a consistent schedule when booked as part of a high dosage tutoring model where tutors meet with the same student for an ongoing session series. We are expecting a high demand for tutoring between the hours of 6pm ET to 9pm ET, if these hours are a match for your schedule that is a plus! Additional tutoring availability is also welcome, as tutoring sessions take place at Littera between the hours of 7am to 9pm ET, Monday to Friday.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience working with school-age learners in some capacity.

Please note, this is a remote contract position and is not full-time. The Role

Scheduling:

Title: Vocabulary Content Linguist

Mango Languages is looking for an enthusiastic Vocabulary Content Linguist who can quickly publish topical and engaging vocabulary content for language learners. In this entry-level temporary contract position, you will be part of a content development team composed of linguists and subject matter experts with a mission to build and curate a collection of vocabulary lists for many languages.

The Vocabulary Content Linguist will be responsible for overseeing the content strategy for Mango s Vocabulary system. You will be expected to plan and adhere to a consistent, fast-paced schedule of content deployments using Mango s in-house content development software. Candidates must demonstrate that they are able to work in many different languages, as understanding the unique challenges posed to learners by different languages will be essential to building a successful content strategy.

The ideal candidate will be in sync with the online language learning community and will be able to anticipate learners needs and interests by staying up to date with trends and current events. ikeGPS is a technology company that operates in the North American utility poles market. One of our products, PoleForeman, is a Structural Analysis Engineering software application used to determine pole length and class in the design of overhead utility lines. The core responsibility for this position is instructing PoleForeman software training classes. To be successful in this role, a candidate must understand the fundamentals of overhead line design, pertinent aspects of the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) and General Order 95 (GO95).

As an IKE Training Instructor, you will develop and instruct training curriculums on the use of the PoleForeman software as well as provide training for Overhead Distribution Line Design and Joint Use Make Ready Engineering. No Means No Worldwide (NMNW) is an international non-governmental organization whose mission is to end sexual and gender-based violence against women and children globally. NMNW trains Instructors in high-risk environments to deliver the proven No Means No curricula to girls and boys ages 10-20. Through the No Means No program, girls increase their skills in assertiveness, boundary setting, and understanding of their rights, and develop the verbal and physical skills to defend themselves from sexual assault. The Director of Administrative Assessment will:

• Establish and provide direct support for a comprehensive, ongoing program of assessment, working to ensure that rigorous and meaningful reflective assessment occurs regularly, that university administrative support services as a whole are engaged in assessment, and that evidence-guided improvement results from assessment efforts.
• Assist administrative units in utilizing data for continuous improvement and sharing successes through engaging, meaningful storytelling.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate administrative assessment training seminars/webinars to continually enhance the rigor of administrative assessments on all campuses.
• Design, implement, and manage a robust Administrative Program Review process that comprehensively evaluates all administrative support service areas over a seven-to-ten-year cycle, resulting in memorandums of understanding outlining administrative support service department-level enhancements to be implemented, as needed.
• Oversee the development of online method(s) of storing and reporting pertinent administrative program evaluation information over time.
• Align and integrate the administrative program evaluation processes with other university planning, evaluation and accreditation functions to maximize the benefit and efficiency of institutional effectiveness efforts.
• Collaborate with the offices of Information Technology, Institutional Research, Institutional Efficiency, and others as needed to ensure constituent access to appropriate institutional data in support of administrative assessment and administrative program review.
• Conduct ongoing evaluation of processes related to academic and administrative review and make recommendations for improved efficiency, and
• Provide outstanding consultative services that represent ERAU professionally in regional and national assessment forums.

This is a full-time position. Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week is required. Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during workday, typically 9-5 (or 8-4) or as defined by the school.

• Provides direct, engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students daily (hours are determined by state/client needs)
• Provides targeted, personalized feedback using a variety of techniques
• Differentiates instruction based on student level of mastery
• Schedules time daily to access the learning management system and review student progress and grade submitted assignments
• Creates a welcoming class environment adhering to course set-up and management guidelines
• Actively learns and engages in curriculum
• Analyzes student data and identifies appropriate actions that improve student achievement
• Adheres to state and client-specific policies and procedures, meeting non-negotiable deadlines
• Supports learning coaches/mentors with student curricular and instructional issues, as well as basic troubleshooting in a virtual classroom environment that is in line with policies and procedures

• Ability to attend monthly data analysis meetings, work collaboratively with other teachers to interpret and produce numeric, tabular, and graphic representations of student data, and use it to drive instructional decisions
• Complete additional trainings as part of teacher induction program and annually as required
• Creates and/or Augments course content according to prescribed policies and procedures using appropriate asynchronous and synchronous tools under guidance from manager and content team
• Establish and maintain positive rapport with families and proactively communicates with and responds to students and learning coaches/parents in a timely manner
• Obtains additional State certifications as requested and maintain all active certifications.

Required MINIMUM Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Active or, in process state teaching license
• Ability to clear required background check

Endorsement: Art Education (Missouri preferred)

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Compensation and Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.

• We anticipate the salary range to be $43,000 to $45,000. The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered, as an inidual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. THE OPPORTUNITY

ANet’s Assessment Operations Team provides seamless guidance and support to our content specialists so we achieve all Math and English and Language Arts (ELA) production milestones in a timely and accurate manner. We are seeking part-time Temporary Assessment Operations Assistants to assist the Assessment Operations Team with the development, design, and production of standards-based Math and ELA interim assessments to be administered online and on paper. The volume of work varies throughout the year and depends on the needs of the team. Initially, we anticipate assignments will run April-September 2023 and require 10-15 hours per week to complete. The part-time Temporary Assessment Operations Assistants will report to the Manager, Product Operations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Collaborate with the Assessment Operations Team on the production and quality assurance of ANet’s interim assessments and their delivery in our online platform.
• Aid in the creation and revision of assessments in ANet’s Assessment Tool by selecting items, completing layout, and adhering to ANet’s style guide and assessment design principles
• Support in completing quality assurance testing of ANet’s online assessment delivery system (ADS) and its integration with ANet’s Assessment Tool
• Proofread and input items and passages into ANet’s Online Quiz Tool
• Implement improvements to online items, assessments, and analysis guides based on editor and team input
