The Role 💻

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Blockchain Engineer to join our team of talented developers who share a common interest in distributed systems, their scalability, and continued development. You will be part of the team responsible for building the Chiliz chain that powers the Socios platform.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Building Web3 interfaces that are directly interacting with the blockchain
• Mentor and guide other engineers in advancing their skills and knowledge in Blockchain development
• Maintain and improve existing products
• Work closely with engineers and product managers on new features
• Ensure code quality through tests, in accordance with good practices
• Participate in code reviews
• Anticipate scalability and performance issues
• Be a force of technical and functional proposals

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in developing Blockchain applications
• Must be based in Europe
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to mentor and effectively convey complex technical concepts
• Very good knowledge of Solidity or Vyper
• Good knowledge of EVM compatible chains
• Experience writing/working on protocols and/or blockchain clients (Geth, Erigon, Reth)
• Good knowledge with best practices for securing smart contracts and App development
• Good understanding of different consensus algorithms used in blockchain
• Good knowledge of tools like: Hardhat, Truffle, Foundry, Brownie, Slither, Solhint, etc.
• Knowledge of decentralised infrastructure: components such as IPFS, Swarm, and Whisper.
• Good level of basic tools: Git, VSCode, JIRA
• Ability to work remotely, independently and collaboratively in a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willing to explore new things; curious;

Good to have:

• Any other Blockchain knowledge (other blockchains, scaling solutions, … )
• Previous mentoring experience

We are seeking a versatile Graphic Designer based in Europe working alongside the Creative Director at EmergentX. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to work across a erse range of projects and ventures within the EmergentX ecosystem. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the visual identity of various projects and companies under the EmergentX umbrella, ensuring consistency and excellence across all brand assets.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and evolution of EmergentX’s visual identity across all projects and companies within our ecosystem, fostering a unified brand presence in the blockchain industry
• Produce a wide range of on-brand marketing collateral, including website design, social media assets, presentations and merchandise
• Support commissioning of external agencies and creatives, and feeding back on their work
• Collaborate with marketing and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of design assets into various initiatives
• Ensure you stay up-to-date with market trends and communicate this effectively with the team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
• 2-5 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a focus on branding and visual identity
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint and Figma
• Strong portfolio showcasing your taste and design across identity, web and social media
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and ideas
• Experience in developing and managing brand identity systems across various projects
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a remote role
