The Technical Recruiter will source, recruit, screen, and present qualified candidates for technical positions, specifically software developers with hands-on AWS enterprise-level experience, collaborating with team leads and company leadership to set realistic technical requirements. 
The Technical Recruiter will be the owner of the entire sourcing and recruiting process, from the development of job descriptions, posting and monitoring job postings using Lever ATS, screening candidates, and scheduling technical interviews with our technical team members.
< class="h3">Responsibilities
  • Drive the full lifecycle candidate experience from sourcing and engaging candidates and managing the interview process through to the offer and closing stage.
  •  Become an expert on Futuralis’ value proposition and organizational structure to hire some of the most impactful experts into our firm.
  • Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing strategies with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of return on investment.
  • Recruit passive candidates through sources such as Dice and LinkedIn Recruiter and gauge the chemistry of candidates for fit and motivation, rather than simply sell a role.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management.
  • Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine-tuning standard processes for recruiting that fit within Futuralis’ mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.
  • Screen candidates within the framework of the position specification and prepare an ideal candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.
  • Establish recruiting best practices and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled.
  • Assist with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected positions.
  • Identify the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates.
  • Post open positions on Lever ATS, Indeed, and other job boards as appropriate. 
  • Maintain contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications.
  •   Maintain candidate pipeline daily in Lever ATS- updating candidate stages, following up with team members for resume and interview feedback, and ensuring that notes on candidates’ status’ are clear and concise. 
  • Facilitate professional contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
< class="h3">Required Educations, Skills, & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related technical and/or human resources field required.
  • At least three years of consulting and/or search firm progressive technical recruiting experience, including sourcing and candidate generation. This experience should include demonstrated success in recruiting mid to senior-level AWS software engineers. 
  • At least one year of experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive phone and internet research.
  • Experience utilizing ATS/CTS systems with sourcing, tracking, and managing candidates
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and client relation
  • Client focus and commitment to continuous improvement; ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships, must pursue conscious cost-containment efforts in recruiting, continually seek new sourcing options and develop creative approaches to delivering candidates to the customer.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to execute recruitment strategies, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, ersity sourcing, and interview process management.
  • Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision- you will often be self-directing and creating your own schedule and priorities each day.
  • Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as a team leader and member.
  • Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, technical team members, company leadership, and AWS managers and counterparts.
