Job Summary

Purity Coffee Customer Support Representatives are key to the company’s success and the satisfaction of its customers. They are responsible for multi-channel customer support tickets, emails, live chats, with a particular emphasis on phone support. This is a high call volume position, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment. They will participate in weekly team member 1:1 meetings, a weekly department meeting, as well as quarterly team member reviews and departmental strategic planning meetings. Each team member is expected to manage an average of 150-250 support tickets weekly via email, call, or live chat. In this job, you are ultimately responsible for creating the results for our clients’ business operations. You will be ultimately responsible for the client’s business processes and how their actual business operations work.

When you get a new client, it will be your responsibility to thoroughly investigate the client’s day-to-day operations and reconstruct the client’s current business processes. You will examine all their current systems, data, records, documents, communication logs, and other artifacts of their business. You will interview all their key staff, managers, and other iniduals. You will conduct other investigation as appropriate. And you will ultimately reconstruct in detail the client’s current as-is business processes, capturing all appropriate process scenarios, structure, and other inner workings of the business processes.

It will then be your responsibility to use your business process expertise to improve the client’s business processes in a way that will enable a more profitable, efficient, and scalable business. This will not be one of those cases where you will just apply cookie-cutter solutions. You will actually need to work from root principles to find out sub-optimialities and issues in current business processes and then re-engineer the business processes of the client and define the exact desired processes that will need to be implemented to achieve the results goals, and it will be your responsibility to ensure that the desired processes you engineer will actually be able to successfully work in our client’s day-to-day business operations.

You will then work with our technical team to get a systems solution designed that will actually implement, enforce, and automate the desired to-be processes in the client’s business. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute to the building and maintenance of Ruby on Rails applications that enable our thousands of fiscally sponsored projects across the US to crowdfund (over $25 million in donations processed annually), apply for grants, and receive support and oversight from Fractured Atlas staff
• Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to design and scope new features and enhancements 
• Maintain and expand internal APIs and integrations with Stripe and other third-party software platforms
• Submit code for the implementation of full-stack features, utilizing Ruby, Rails, JavaScript, and CSS as needed

The Role

The Compliance Manager will be a key team member reporting to Ethena’s General Counsel supporting both the Operations and Legal teams. This role will be critical to Ethena’s compliance obligations to our key strategic partners in regulated markets, as well as our own regulatory licences and general internal risk processes and procedures. You’ll be responsible for onboarding processes as well as transaction monitoring and investigation processes, and you will develop & enhancing them as we scale. The Compliance Manager will be a process oriented professional who takes ownership of the day to day compliance operations at Ethena and demonstrates the awareness needed to ensure Ethena’s compliance with relevant standards.

What You’ll Do

• Support the Legal & Operations teams, driving improvements in a variety of operational processes, particularly in compliance.
• Design and implement streamlined processes for onboarding users, along with ongoing compliance policies that are both efficient and comprehensive.
• Work with teams across disciplines to develop and implement internal policies and processes required for compliance with licensing requirements (e.g., MiCA) in conjunction with existing, dedicated compliance teams.
• Drive external compliance requests, such as onboarding and KYB requirements from partners, as well as implement and lead compliance checks / vendor due diligence on potential partners. Monitor third-party relationships for compliance risks as they may emerge.
• Work with external service providers to conduct relevant diligence and analyses to determine whether gaps in certain compliance initiatives exist, and design/implement strategies to mitigate.
• Inform and support the rest of the company (e.g. marketing and product teams) to ensure consistency and compliance with applicable laws, and regulations across our products, marketing, policies and practices.
• Keep up to date with relevant compliance standards and regulations across key jurisdictions we work in, using this knowledge to inform your work.

What We’re Looking For

• In-depth understanding of financial regulations, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CFT), Know Your Customer (KYC), and data privacy laws.
• Familiarity with the regulatory landscape for digital assets, cryptocurrencies, and stablecoins at local, national, and international levels (e.g., FATF guidelines, EU MiCA, SEC regulations, etc.).

We have made the decision to redevelop our SaaS platform from scratch. As the Lead Engineer, you will take ownership for this project, leading the development of the backend API, web application, mobile application, USSD Application and infrastructure setup. 

You will collaborate closely with a dedicated UI/UX designer, CTO and technical advisors to build a scalable, secure, and robust platform.
