At Mailprotector, our Senior Software Engineers design and build products that help organizations secure and optimize email. We work in small, independent teams, typically on 6-week cycles. Your day to day will be spent writing and shipping code to shape a new feature, improvement, or fix. An ability to work across the entire stack will be essential. You’ll work on our Ruby on Rails applications as well as other applications written in Python and NodeJS. Occasionally, you may even jump into the frontend.
You might have a computer science degree. You might not. That’s not what we’re looking for. We care about what you can do and how you do it, not about how you got here.
If you’re not in the Greenville, SC area, no problem. Our product team is distributed across the country. Remote work is embraced at Mailprotector.
This might be a good fit if you:
- Have designed, developed, or maintained large-scale Ruby on Rails production apps; at least 3 years experience.
- Are familiar with encryption algorithms.
- Have experience with email protocols and systems such as SMTP, POP3, IMAP, DMARC, DKIM, Microsoft Exchange, Postfix, and Dovecot.
- Craft solutions with a "security-first" mentality.
- Have experience with high performance event-driven network applications.
- Embrace a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Have a knowledge of database systems like MySQL, Aurora, Redis, and DynamoDB.
- Are comfortable digging in until you figure it out but know when it’s time to ask for help.
- Enjoy the additional freedoms and responsibilities of small company culture.
- Regularly have ideas about making things better that you can persuasively communicate.
- Desire to improve, learn more, and make things better.
**What we do:
**Mailprotector designs, builds, and supports products that help organizations secure and optimize email. We do this exclusively through a network of channel partners who rely on us for this mission critical application. We operate primarily from our headquarters in the historic Ivey's building on Main Street in Greenville, SC and remote locations around the country.
**How we behave:
**- Finish Strong: We do whatever it takes to get the job done whether that means going over, around, or through the obstacles in our way. We work hard doing hard things because that’s where the reward is.
- Own Your Work: We take the initiative to figure things out and accept the responsibility for finding the solution. We accept accountability to those depending on us.
- Pursue Excellence: We are internally driven to be great at what we do. Our natural ambition comes from the passion of doing what we were created to do.
- Stay Humble: We are team players who consider others’ interests as much as our own and know that only when the team wins, do we truly win.
- Be Curious: We think deeply and creatively about the things we encounter with an insatiable desire to improve and a disdain for the status quo.
- Invest In Others: We seek to be authentic and genuine with our teammates and our partners, because we care for them. We operate with integrity by saying what we do and doing what we say.
- Sweat The Details: In our work and with our words, we are conscientious because the details make the difference.
**Other things you should know:
**- There are multiple openings for this position and we will consider remote work for the right candidate.
- Our interview process is more involved and thorough than you think it will be. This helps us make sure we find you the right seat on the bus.
- We're going to pay much more attention to your cover letter than your resume.
- We're first and foremost a team; but that doesn’t mean this is a place to blend in. We are looking for creative, intelligent, opinionated, hard-working teammates who want their efforts and input to matter.
If you think you might be a fit for this role and for our team then we’d love to talk. Please submit your resume and bespoke cover letter. We’ll be back in touch if we think there might be a reason to talk further.

About Goldsky
At Goldsky, our vision is simple: Build the most powerful data platform for Web3 ☀️.
Blockchains will enable a new era of unique onchain experiences and applications. However, today it’s impossible to build high-quality products due to the difficulties of processing onchain data effectively. This complexity is only increasing as more chains and smart contracts are deployed across the ecosystem. Teams are forced to build complex data infrastructure in-house, distracting them from focusing on their core product.
Goldsky bridges this gap by making it seamless for developers to power their applications with realtime onchain data. Our infrastructure powers hundreds of projects across the industry building rich, instant, data-driven experiences.
We’ve raised over $20M from Dragonfly Capital, Felicis Ventures, prominent players in the industry such as 0x Labs, Uniswap Labs, and Protocol Labs, and angel investors including Elad Gil, Plaid founders Zach Perret and William Hockey, and Zhuoxun Yin of Magic Eden. Our team members have previously built mission-critical, scalable infrastructure at Meta, Google, Shopify, Activision, and more.
We’d love for you to join us in our mission to unlock the full potential of data in Web3.
About the Role
We launched our first product, Subgraphs, last year. Since then, we’ve onboarded hundreds of customers to the platform, including Zora, Optimism, POAP, NounsDAO, 0x Labs, Immutable, Hashflow, Arweave, and Polymarket, among others.
Recently, we began rolling out access to Mirror, an end-to-end data pipeline solution for streaming onchain data directly to an existing offchain database.
As we continue to grow, we are looking to bring on a Frontend Engineer who will be pivotal in crafting intuitive, dynamic, and high-performance user interfaces. This role involves working closely with our product and design teams to deliver a seamless user experience, ensuring our platform is both powerful and user-friendly.
You’ll be working with a world-class data engineering team with experience in architecting (not just building or using) the production streaming systems at companies like Shopify, Activision, and more. We regularly present at data engineering conferences and merge changes back into upstream projects, so a love of open-source could be helpful.
Experience with Blockchain and Web3 is not required, but having proficiency in modern frontend frameworks and a keen eye for design will definitely make a candidate stand out.
Responsibilities:
- Develop User Interfaces: Create and maintain intuitive and responsive user interfaces that allow users to easily interact with complex data-driven applications. You’ll be building the frontend for our cutting-edge Web3 data products.
- Collaborate with Design and Product Teams: Work closely with our design and product teams to translate wireframes and prototypes into high-quality code. You’ll ensure that the user experience is cohesive, accessible, and performant.
- Optimize Performance: Identify bottlenecks and ensure our web applications are fast, responsive, and optimized for all users. This includes optimizing load times and managing state efficiently.
- Problem-Solve on the Fly: We’re building sophisticated tools in a completely new industry, where there are many things to discover. Problems will arise that have never been solved, and you’ll be able to figure out the “good enough” solution consistently as we run into lots of novel technical challenges. You have the drive to work through hard problems, the curiosity to dig deeper and understand the root cause of a problem, and the grit to iterate through first attempts that lead to the right solution over time.
- Build Systems Incrementally: As we grow, we are looking to build incrementally but with a strong vision for the future architecture. While we actively embrace ‘throw-away work’ when the situation demands, we’re at a point where sustainable scaling is important, and we’re looking for someone who can walk that balance.
We’re excited to talk with you if:
- You are passionate about building clean, scalable, and maintainable frontend architectures. You should have experience with modern frontend frameworks such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Svelte, and other tools.
- You enjoy the high-level strategy work as well as the implementation, and you get excited about seeing users interact with the interfaces you’ve built.
- You’re curious, low ego, and always looking to improve. You experiment with strategies, tactics, and tools in order to identify what works, and you adjust to find repeatable success. You’re open to feedback and collaborating with others to get to the best approach.
- You’re hungry and excited to join a high-growth, fast-paced startup where you’ll get your hands dirty across a range of challenges. You’re comfortable in an ambiguous, remote environment without much structure.
- You enjoy building long-term relationships with teammates and customers.
- You’re open and curious to learn more about this wacky world of crypto :)
Bonus points for:
- You also feel comfortable with backend or data engineering. Though not explicitly required, the more you can get your hands on — the better!
- You’ve worked with highly technical products and customers; even better if you’ve worked in B2B SaaS.
- You’re crypto native, familiar with the broader ecosystem, and understand why Goldsky will unlock new experiences and applications in Web3.
Benefits
- Competitive salary and equity in Goldsky.
- Fully paid health plans for U.S. based employees — This includes medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your family at no cost to you.
- Unlimited vacation - Take time to recharge as you need it. We’re serious.
- Home office setup fund - Expense up to $2,000 for home office equipment (e.g. desk, chair)
- Company provided laptop - we’ll make sure you’ve got the hardware to keep up with you
- Wellness stipend - Expense up to $100/mo on whatever helps you stay healthy.
- Connectivity stipend - Expense up to $75/mo on phone or internet.
- Regular self-care days - Every other Friday is a company holiday to decompress. We go hiking, learn to cook, or trade jpegs.
- Paid travel - We’ll cover any costs for work-related conferences and quarterly company offsites all around the globe.
- Nice swag - We have a free internal Shopify store set up!
Time zones: EST (UTC -5), MST (UTC -7), ART (UTC -3), UTC -4, UTC -4:30, UTC -3, UTC -2, SBT (UTC +11), GMT (UTC +0), CET (UTC +1), EET (UTC +2), MSK (UTC +3)

Imagine if anyone could push code straight to production without review or testing—it would be chaotic, error-prone, and perhaps even dangerous.
Now imagine this within a high-stakes environment where all mistakes are met with potential litigation in court. It’s hard to imagine a scenario that produces remotely positive results.
Yet, this is the reality for many companies when it comes to their legal agreements. Contracts are often created haphazardly, without the standardised templates or approval workflows that ensure efficiency, compliance and reliability.
As a seasoned developer, you understand the power of clean code, reusable templates, and efficient workflows. You take it for granted this forms the basic building blocks of any well-functioning product. At Docfield, we believe legal agreements are just as important to the enterprise, as code is to the developer. You see, both are foundational in defining the parameters of their operations. Whilst a software product can't operate without code, an enterprise can't operate without legal agreements.
At Docfield, we are leveraging the power of software development to transform the way enterprises think about their legal agreements.
Are you the Technical Lead that will drive this mission forward with us?
There’s a couple of things we want to communicate about the role and the operations within which it exists. Our goal is simple: to find someone with the expertise to deliver results and manage our team of developers with a genuine passion for the product we're building.
We’ve tried to summarise it below, but sometimes a conversation can be more revealing than static text. If you think you can be a fit for the role, we kindly invite you to apply below.
**🌟 Why You’ll Love This Role
**You’ve spent years honing your technical skills, and now, you’re ready for the next big challenge. As our Technical Lead, you will get the chance to:
- Lead our talented development team in building a cutting-edge document management ecosystem that our customers love.
- Play a crucial role in scaling our product to new verticals, geographies, and use-cases. You’ll do so whilst expanding our tech stack.
- Directly influence how businesses manage their key legal documents from end-to-end, reducing errors and boosting efficiency across the board.
**🚀 Why This Challenge Suits you
**- You have 8+ years of coding experience, including at least 3+ years of leading technical teams.
- Ruby on Rails ecosystems have no more surprises for you. You love to work with it. And you also know React, or have an affinity with it.
- You are experienced in managing infrastructure, particularly AWS environments with Terraform/Pulumi.
- You have 5+ years of experience developing high-load and high-availability services in SaaS, E-commerce, or similar industries.
- You have a genuine passion for technology and like to stay up to date on the latest. You have a start-up mentality, understanding every role is very hands-on and scrappy.
- Your tech knowledge is insulated by your deep understanding of security principles, with experience in passing ISO 27001 being a plus.
**👀 What’s in It for You?
**- Competitive Compensation: We will compensate you fairly with the budget that we have, and like to be transparent about this throughout the process. You will earn between €80-100k per year, with a portion in SARs that we fully expect to multiply in value. You can ask us more about this during the interview.
- Flexibility: Our policy, especially on the tech-side, is very flexible on where work is completed. We filter for high-autonomy applicants in the process and as such accept remote applicants. Prefer to relocate to Amsterdam? We'll be happy to support you with that. Our commercial and operations team is on-site more regularly and you can join the team in-office as much as you wish.
- Growth Opportunities: We have a vested interest in your skill development. That's why we set aside a dedicated €1,000 training budget per year to keep your skills sharp. Of course, we hope to be able to increase these budgets in the future.

Conduit – The Onchain Compute Company
At Conduit, we’re building the rollup-native cloud platform that will scale Ethereum.
Crypto builders have been held back by a lack of onchain compute — without the ability to process a high volume of transactions quickly and cheaply, onchain apps and ecosystems can’t build high quality user experiences.
Rollups have emerged as the answer to this problem. Just as servers work together to scale compute in web2, so too can rollups scale onchain compute in web3. But building and operating your own rollup is difficult and time-consuming. That’s where Conduit comes in.
As the rollup-native cloud platform, Conduit combines web2 engineering best-practices with web3 rollup technology to make it easy for anyone to launch and maintain their own chain. By making infrastructure simple and onchain compute abundant, similar to how AWS and GCP did for web2, we can unlock the next wave of innovation in the crypto ecosystem.
The Conduit platform has seen massive growth since going live in 2023. We more. This translates to 200+ chains across mainnet and testnet and over $1B in total-value-locked (TVL). We’re operating on the bleeding edge of crypto, co-evolving with our customers and integration partners, and pushing the limits of blockchain scalability and modularity.
This success has been recognized and accelerated through a $37M Series A, co-led by Paradigm and Haun Ventures — two of the best investors in the industry.
We’re an elite team that’s previously worked at Meta, Brex, Wish, Compound, Chainalysis, Immunefi, Amazon, Avara/Aave, Paradigm, and more. We’re headquartered in San Francisco, with team members all over the world.
We’re looking for ambitious, talented builders that want to help scale Ethereum and bring crypto compute to the masses. Join us!
About the Role
Conduit’s backend team builds the systems that power the Conduit Platform. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and scaling out the next-generation of services for the Conduit Platform.
In this role you’ll be working on building out scalable, efficient, and performant distributed software solutions for the Conduit Platform. This is a mixture of extending and improving open-source software as well as developing in-house solutions.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and evolve the core Conduit Platform
- Deliver scalable and robust software solutions in a devops environment
- Create and improve tooling and process to improve maintainability and reliability
- Participate in oncall rotation
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience building and supporting production systems
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and security best practices
- Experience distilling customer, product, and business requirements into scalable solutions
- Experience debugging complex issues across the stack, such as networking issues, performance problems, or memory leaks
- Collaborate effectively with other engineers to solve complex technical problems (mentoring, peer-reviews, design reviews, etc.).
We think you’ll find this work really exciting if you:
- Are excited about building robust public-facing, large-scale, always-on services
- Love building and iterating on new technologies in a fast-paced environment
Our tech stack
A flavor of technologies in-use:
- Languages: Golang, python, rust
- Databases: Postgres, redis, GCS
While we value experience with these technologies, we are primarily looking for engineers with strong technical skills and the ability to quickly pick up new tools and frameworks.
