As the lead QA engineer, you will be responsible for Onebrief’s quality assurance success. You’ll apply your experience to implement a quality assurance program that relies heavily on automation and on enabling all engineers to be good QA practitioners.

You’ll be responsible for putting in place and maintaining the infrastructure, architecture, examples, and documentation necessary for engineers to be self-sufficient in writing everyday tests. You’ll pair up, mentor, and review their work. You’ll roll your sleeves and write many tests yourself too, especially end-to-end, integration, and performance tests.

You’ll be involved in releases, to ensure they meet our quality standards, and in incidents, to assist in troubleshooting defects and preventing regressions—both which require some amount of manual testing.

About the Role

We're looking for product-centric QA Test Analyst to join one of our cross-functional squads. We currently have 3 squads which have their own goals relating to different areas of the product and are empowered to deliver on these goals from idea through to production release. Each squad contains a product manager, product designer, QA, data analyst and frontend/app/backend developers.

This role is considered to be the technical leader within a Quality Engineering team. Responsible for Quality Engineering and compliance activities of AI based software development projects, providing hands-on design assurance, compliance and technical support for the software development life cycle, design control, and risk management processes.

As a Sr. Software Design Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality and Regulatory organization but will work closely with software engineering and data science teams to ensure that the design control objectives are met including the quality of Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) products released by iRhythm.
