We are looking for software engineers to help us build a decentralized protocol to connect market data providers to DeFi applications. This task includes building the on-chain programs, developer SDKs, tooling, monitoring, frontends and more. We also need help defining the product itself, so we are looking for people who understand the DeFi ecosystem and can help us identify and capitalize on new opportunities.About Us and the Job* We are a small team. About half the team is technical; the other half manages relationships with data providers, developers, and the broader community. (Building a network requires talking to people!)* We are mostly remote. Team members live across the world, in the US, Europe, and Asia. We do have offices in some locations (Porto, Chicago, London, Amsterdam, Singapore) for those who prefer in-office work.* Our team communicates with each other and external developers in English. Strong spoken and written English skills are required.* We operate like a startup in the rapidly-growing and changing DeFi ecosystem. In order to be successful, we must adapt to meet the current needs of the market. Good candidates will help our organization adapt; they are flexible problem solvers who are willing and able to jump on whatever the occasion demands.* Most of our software development is open source. First off, this description is a wishlist, not a checklist. We want to find a super-amazing person to join our team, and we’re well aware that “super-amazing” can come in all different forms. If you’re a little less experienced on a specific bullet point, or if you didn’t go to a fancy school, apply anyway. We look at candidates, not resumes.
About Us
Standard is a sort of talent management agency and production company for thoughtful YouTubers and podcasters. We do a lot of things, so it’s hard to explain it all in a single paragraph, but our mission is to empower independent creators. Most of our time is spent talking or working with the creators directly, one on one or in a group, coming up with better tools and toys for them.
We’re a distributed company. We have offices in NYC and Denver, but more than 50% of the team is remote, in exotic locations like the UK, the Netherlands, France, and Ohio.
There are things to do and meetings to be had, but we pride ourselves on our flexibility. We think this makes Standard a great place to work for people with families, or whose productive hours tend to be outside of the 9-5. We care about what you do more than when you do it.

Maybe you need to adjust your schedule to care for your family or take a bike ride. At Ad Hoc, that’s welcomed.
What matters most
Ad Hoc values acceptance, accountability, and humility. We aren’t heroes. We leave our egos at the door to learn from our mistakes and improve the process for the next time. Who are we?
We’re a small, erse team working at the cutting edge of machine learning. At Cohere, our mission is to build machines that understand the world and to make them safely accessible to all. Language is at the crux of this, but it can be difficult and expensive to parse the syntax, semantics, and context that all work together to give words meaning. The Cohere platform provides access to Large Language Models through its APIs that read billions of web pages and learns to understand the meaning, sentiment, and intent of the words we use in a richness never seen before.
We’ve raised our Series B, signed a multi-year partnership with Google Cloud, and we are focused on bringing our technology to market. We will partner with customers so they can build natural language understanding and generation into their products with just a few lines of code.
We’re ambitious we believe our technology will fundamentally transform how industries interact with natural language. And we have the technical chops to back it up – Cohere’s CEO, Aidan Gomez, is a co-author of the groundbreaking paper Attention is all you need, and was previously part of Google Brain. We are focused on creating a erse and inclusive work environment so that all of our team members can thrive. We welcome kind and brilliant people to our team, from wherever they come.

- Produce high-quality work and prototypes using Figma and other tools such as Adobe and C4D.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, GTM, and Modelling to implement new features for both B2C and B2B customers.
- Contribute to design leadership decisions such as roadmaps and the future direction of Cohere’s offerings on a regular cadence.
You may be a good fit if:
-
- You have at least 5+ years of product design experience, and a track record of shipping products from zero to one. Bonus: you’ve worked on technical, creative, or enterprise tools.
- You’re a strategist equipped with a versatile design process to get you from any problem to high-fidelity designs (rapid prototyping, stakeholder interviews, a metrics ewhatever will get you there!)
- You’ve taken full ownership of a suite of features or a full product, leading its scope, research, and designs.
- You’re committed to building and facilitating relationships with non-designers to execute your vision of the best user experience.
- You possess a breadth of design skills which makes you proficient in doing both product and visual work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- You have a great instinct for visual design and therefore sweat the small details: from typography, colour, and layout, to animation.

If some of the above doesn’t line up perfectly with your experience, we still encourage you to apply! If you consider yourself a thoughtful worker, a lifelong learner, and a kind and playful team member, Cohere is the place for you.
