Overview

You will be supporting the Regional Managing Director of APAC directly in driving the expansion and growth of our company. You will help develop customized solutions for enterprise clients and Financial Institutions, seeking to leverage blockchain, AI in their respective businesses. You may also be called upon to play a role in developing our new robotics business. This is initially a 12-month contract position with strong potential for conversion to a full-time permanent role if performance meets or exceeds expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Your main role is to support the APAC Regional Managing Director in understanding customer requirements and developing customized solutions for them. To be successful at this, you will need to have a curious mind and a firm understanding of innovation and technology implementation, and may have participated in digital transformation projects as a consultant in a prior role.
• Assist in preparing for and participating in client meetings, gathering relevant information, and helping to articulate Nethermind’s value proposition to potential enterprise clients.

Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, technology or other related field.
• At least 3-5 years experience in a technology consulting and/or supporting technology sales role, with experience in enterprise and institutional environments, preferably within the blockchain and digital assets industry.
• Strong understanding of enterprise requirements and the ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
• Demonstrated experience in helping craft compelling and winning proposals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of blockchain technology, digital assets and cryptocurrencies is highly desirable, a strong interest in this area is a must.
• Strong interest in AI and applied AI is highly desirable.
• Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events within APAC.
• Based in the APAC region, preferably Singapore, Hong Kong or Japan.

About the opportunity

We are seeking a Principal Solana Smart Contract Engineer to lead the development of a new Solana-based product from the ground up. This role is critical to the success of the product, where you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and securing smart contracts, ensuring seamless integration with backend and data engineering teams, and optimizing performance for large-scale B2B2C distribution.

We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of smart contract development from inception to operation, working closely with product and engineering teams to shape the vision, bring it to life, and ultimately maintain, optimize, and integrate it into Figment’s other products. You’ll be responsible for setting technical direction and driving best practices for Solana development.

This is a full-time remote position, with team members across North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia. This role is unique because you’ll be at the forefront of building a new product that expands the blockchain ecosystem. If you enjoy tackling complex blockchain challenges, architecting secure smart contract systems, and leading initiatives in a fast-paced environment, this role may be a great fit for you. Compensation

One of Figment’s core principles is “Making the Invisible Visible” - ensuring transparency and information sharing in all communication. Figment is committed to transparency regarding pay, benefits, and other compensation types for all internal roles as well as all roles being hired for.

Base Salary: The CAD base salary range for this position is CAD $200,000 - $230,000. This range reflects base salary only, and does not include additional compensation or benefits. For candidates in other countries, the pay range will be disclosed upon your first interview with Figment (being a globally remote company, the list of salary ranges would simply be too long to note here!). The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum range for a new hire across all Canada or the US.
