About Oku

At Oku, we aim to close the gap between the CeFi and DeFi trading experiences. It is no mistake that 95% of crypto trading occurs on centralized platforms like Binance and Coinbase since their organizations have spent substantially more time and resources investing in their trading interface, while DeFi has primarily been focused at the infrastructure and protocol level for the last several years.

The Role

We’re looking for our first in-house Marketing Manager—a dynamic, strategic thinker with a passion for growth. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving DeSci Labs’ global presence, engaging both the scientific community and the crypto ecosystem.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead Growth Marketing: Design and execute creative, data-driven campaigns focused on the rapid acquisition of scientists as authors, referees, and editors who use DeSci Publish.
• Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with leadership, our external PR/marketing agency, and product teams to align marketing with business goals.
• Performance Advertising: Manage and optimize Google Ads and other paid channels to maximize ROI.
• Content & Social Media: Set the tone with engaging content for scientists and Web3 enthusiasts, building vibrant online communities.
• Analytics & Optimization: Track KPIs, analyze performance, and continuously refine strategies based on insights.
• Brand Development: Shape and strengthen DeSci Labs’ brand voice across all platforms.
• Growth Experiments: Run A/B tests and growth hacks to identify high-impact opportunities.
• Event Marketing: Promote DeSci Labs at webinars, conferences, and community events globally.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years in growth marketing or digital marketing with proven success driving rapid growth.
• Expertise in Google Ads, social media platforms, and marketing automation tools.
• Strong analytical skills - including data analyses - to measure performance and derive actionable insights.
• Exceptional communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote startup environment.

Role

Nomad Capital is seeking an Investment Research Engineer for our crypto fund to collaborate directly with world-class founders and to build meaningful projects. In this role, you’ll contribute by providing analyses in venture building, assessing our investment pipeline, participating in investment committee meetings, and building strong connections with industry leaders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical diligence and quantitative, on-chain and transactional data analysis to evaluate market opportunities, trends, products and competitive benchmarking.
• Prepare and publish research reports identifying trends, opportunities, and risks in specific sectors.
• Draft research memos summarizing key findings, investment theses, and recommendations for the investment committee.
• Proactively source new market opportunities and qualify inbound leads by engaging with founders.
• Collaborate with the team to provide ongoing venture building and portfolio support.

Qualifications

• Technical background or experience in data analytics and /programming, preferably experience in on-chain data analytics and blockchain infrastructure.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the crypto industry.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology and crypto culture, with experience analyzing white papers or crypto projects with a technical angle including foundational infrastructure, onchain data and transactions data.
• Analytical and strategic thinking applied to investment decisions and portfolio management.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent written and analytical skills for deal evaluation and internal reporting.
• Proven proactive approach to tasks and problem-solving.
