You’ll work with product managers to conceptualize and grow our products, design wireframes, test concepts with users, translate your findings into proposals, host workshops, influence strategy, craft visual mock-ups, and produce engineering ready designs and prototypes for new features.

We are seeking a talented UX Designer to join our dynamic team at Cover Whale. As the UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing external and internal user experience, including the trucking platform, and Admin portal, ensuring intuitive and user-friendly interactions for our agents, UWs, Actuarial, Billing and Collections team, and the Customer Experience Team.

About the role:
The primary responsibility of a Senior UX Designer at EasyPost is to create intuitive and scalable solutions for companies of all sizes mailing physical goods. Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for 4 main workstreams:
Brand Development:

We are looking for a freelance designer who excels at designing data-rich insights dashboards and has experience incorporating Generative AI into products. You will be responsible for creating dashboards that not only align with our current product style guide but also inject creativity into new, AI-enhanced experiences. You’ll work closely with our product team, ensuring that every new dashboard design looks cohesive with our existing platform, while also allowing space for innovation and creativity in presenting data and insights. What You’ll Do:
Design interactive, user-friendly dashboards that make complex data simple and actionable.
Integrate Generative AI elements to enhance the dashboard’s intelligence and personalization.
Ensure all new designs are styled to align with our current product style guide, maintaining visual and UX consistency across the platform.
Introduce creative visual elements that bring fresh innovation to the design, without losing cohesion with the overall product.
Use Figma to collaborate with the team, share designs, and ensure seamless design-to-development handoffs.
Design in a modular fashion, ensuring flexibility for different user types (e.g., those with or without AI-driven features).
What You Bring:
Expertise in Figma: Proficiency in creating pixel-perfect designs and collaborating efficiently with developers and product teams.
Strong data visualization skills: Experience creating intuitive, visually compelling dashboards that present complex insights.
Experience integrating Generative AI into product designs, enhancing user experience and functionality.
A strong portfolio showcasing insights dashboards and data-driven product designs, especially in SaaS or enterprise settings.
Attention to detail in ensuring new product features align with existing style guides, while being able to add your own creative flair to new designs.
Experience with AI-driven or data-heavy products is a plus.
