Care AI – Design Brief
Design Requirements - Scope of work
1. Logo (Icon and word logo)
2. Basic brand book or brand / style guidelines including fonts and colors
3. Slide deck format (for investors and customers / sales)
4. Landing page and key pages – can borrow structure of closet comparable company sites (https://www.assorthealth.com/ - a 1 pager!; https://www.notablehealth.com/)
Brand design - inspiration prompts
Target audience
· Primarily we are selling to private clinic chains and private hospitals and telehealth providers within key persona being the 1. CEO, 2. COO 3. chief marketing officer, 4. CFO; secondary would be: 4. Chief digital officer / CIO and 2. head of IT (these are more blockers to overcome).
· Form a primary User perspective we may design dashboards for operational and executive folks at healthcare companies to interact with.
· From a secondary user perspective, we may touch the end user in some interfaces. We may create a persona for the healthcare brand, we may white label, we may do “Powered: By Care AI” or we may create our own consumer facing brands that we distribute through the healthcare brand.
Design inspiration from Melvin:
Primary inspiration websites
Openai.com (really like their elegant simplicity and use of space)
https://www.assorthealth.com/ (a direct comparable company – we can borrow a lot from this)
Scale.com (good use of contrast and gradients)
https://www.notablehealth.com/ A key direct comparable brand (probably most similar to our vision and very successful with investors):
https://www.hippocraticai.com (raised a lot of money and has similar mission in terms of creating AI persona for healthcare)
Secondary inspiration website (8-9/10)
https://copilot.microsoft.com/
latch.com (my old company – did well with great design)
https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7140603194836963329/
Other
website I built at my prior company (currently 4/10): keyreply.com - so you get a feel for what I built (this was with an offshore team based in Indonesia)

Company Description
Since we opened our doors in 2009, the world of commerce has evolved immensely, and so has Square. After enabling anyone to take payments and never miss a sale, we saw sellers stymied by disparate, outmoded products and tools that wouldn’t work together. So we expanded into software and started building integrated, omnichannel solutions – to help sellers sell online, manage inventory, offer buy now, pay later functionality through Afterpay, book appointments, engage loyal buyers, and hire and pay staff. Across it all, we’ve embedded financial services tools at the point of sale, so merchants can access a business loan and manage their cash flow in one place. Afterpay furthers our goal to provide omnichannel tools that unlock meaningful value and growth, enabling sellers to capture the next generation shopper, increase order sizes, and compete at a larger scale. Today, we are a partner to sellers of all sizes – large, enterprise-scale businesses with complex operations, sellers just starting, as well as merchants who began selling with Square and have grown larger over time. As our sellers grow, so do our solutions. There is a massive opportunity in front of us. We’re building a significant, meaningful, and lasting business, and we are helping sellers worldwide do the same.

Why Now
2024 has been an exciting year for Doppler. After raising our $20M Series A from CRV in 2022, we have now helped over 41,000 startups and enterprises manage their secrets at scale. After building the community, it is time to scale and monetize. Throughout this year, we’re getting far more ambitious by setting even higher product, growth, sales, and hiring goals!
About Doppler
Doppler’s mission is to make it easy and secure for developers of every experience level and teams of any size to manage their app configuration and secrets. But hasn’t this been done?
Developers tend to be either struggling with the manual management of .env files, or wrestling with an overly complex secrets manager that’s not built for software development. Doppler is changing that by making app configuration and secrets management easy, intuitive, and scalable. It’s the SecretOps platform built by developers for developers.
Our team is entrepreneurial, with a bias for action. We never back down from a spirited debate and believe we are all responsible for exploring the hard questions. We value self-awareness and meaningful impact. We are open to unconventional approaches and have learned not to judge a book by its cover. Your time is your most valuable resource, so you set your hours. We use Slack to communicate and default to zero meetings. We aim to document everything. We also recommend you invest your time in 10% compounding time.
Who We Are
Doppler is a SecretOps platform that enables developers and security teams to keep their secrets secure and in sync wherever they run their code. SecretOps is the set of security philosophies, frameworks, and tools used to operationalize secrets at scale.
The Role
As a Graphic Designer at Doppler, you will be the brand expert, ensuring that every piece of visual communication aligns with our brand’s voice and aesthetic. You will play a pivotal role in taking our brand to the next level while maintaining the consistency and integrity that our audience expects. You will collaborate with many teams to create assets ranging from website assets/design, social posts and ads, blog graphics, whitepapers, case studies, decks, merch, and more.
About the Team
Doppler’s Design Team is lean, comprised of two product designers and one marketing/brand designer (you!). We’re a security-first team that genuinely cares about the quality of what we produce. We collaborate with as little ego as humanly possible and are constantly trying to improve how we are presented to our target audience and how our users interact with our product.
Joining Doppler as a Graphic Designer is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and innovative team. You will have the chance to make a significant impact on our brand and help shape the future of our visual identity. If you are passionate about design and eager to contribute to a growing tech startup, we would love to hear from you.
What you’ll do:
- Maintain and improve our brand design guidelines and Figma library
- Design new pages for the website as well as improve existing pages
- Design the following digital assets: social posts, ads, blog graphics, illustrations/icons, decks used by sales and internal teams, infographics, and more

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes
- Provide feedback to any brand-related imagery created by the team or third parties as the representative of our brand
- Find ways to push the boundaries of our existing brand while maintaining brand integrity
