Role
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of data pipelines that power user-facing products as well as internal tools. You will integrate with internal blockchain RPC nodes and third-party APIs to fetch stake and rewards data for multiple blockchains, and store and process this data to power internal reports and dashboards, as well as external customer reporting. You will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making.
Our current data pipelines are implemented in Python, and run on a mix of Apache Airflow and Kubernetes, storing data in Postgres and Google Cloud Storage. We use various dashboarding and analysis tools, including Streamlit.
Responsibilities
- Implement data pipelines that ingest rewards, pricing and commercial contract data. Ensure data quality via automated sanity checks.
- Maintain automated workflows that make assets-under-management numbers and APY data available to our website and third parties.
- Develop and maintain internal dashboards for the presentation and analysis of company revenue data, assets under management, and a detailed breakdown of these numbers.
- Work with cutting-edge blockchain technology, so all of the above data is available at the moment when a new blockchain network launches.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Head of Legal to build and lead our legal team as we navigate a complex and rapidly evolving regulatory environment. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for ensuring compliance, managing legal risk, owning all commercial legal work, and shaping Chorus One’s engagement in global crypto policy. You will serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team and collaborate closely with stakeholders across Product, Leadership and Business Development.
Responsibilities:
1. Legal Strategy & Leadership
- Define and scale the legal team in alignment with Chorus One’s business objectives.
- Advise leadership on legal and regulatory risk, governance, and compliance.
- Act as the company’s lead legal voice, both internally and in external engagements.
2. Regulatory Compliance & Policy Engagement
- Monitor and interpret global regulations affecting digital assets, including MiCA, SEC guidance, ETF-related developments, and APAC jurisdictional requirements.
- Lead Chorus One’s approach to regulatory compliance across staking, DeFi, and validator services.
- Represent the company in conversations with regulators, industry groups, and working groups to help shape the evolving crypto policy landscape.
- Proactively assess risk exposure and develop policies and frameworks to ensure compliance across jurisdictions.
3. Commercial Contracting & Legal Operations
- Own the drafting, negotiation, and management of all commercial agreements, NDAs, and partnerships.
- Build scalable legal templates and contract workflows that support growth and reduce friction for BD and operational teams.
- Maintain high-quality legal documentation that aligns with business objectives and mitigates risk.
4. Cross-functional & External Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across business development, finance, product to embed legal guidance into decision-making.
- Liaise with and manage external counsel on specialized legal matters, including international licensing, tax, and securities law.

- Experience: 7–10+ years of legal practice, with at least 3 years in crypto/blockchain.

Nature of the role:
We are looking for a Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) who will assume primary responsibility for ensuring broker-dealer compliance with SEC, FINRA and applicable state rules/ regulations. The primary responsibility would be to design, implement and maintain the broker-dealer compliance program, develop and work in tandem with the Wintermute’s global compliance team to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement standards, policies and procedures for the broker-dealer compliance program.
- Manage the firm’s FINRA Gateway filings, complete periodic regulatory reporting submissions, and coordinate broker-dealer audits and inspections.
- Oversee trade related compliance activities, including the reporting for equity securities.
- Coordinate responses to inquiries from regulatory authorities.
- Manage all aspects of the US firm’s AML compliance program. Collaborate with other control functions such as compliance, risk, operations to address any regulatory issues which may impact the function, business or product.
- Assist with development, maintenance and delivery of compliance related materials, including policies and procedures, manuals and training materials against regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Review and approve marketing materials, ensuring it complies with applicable financial promotion rules.
- Support compliance and regulatory projects, including authorisations, transaction monitoring and surveillance. Investigating and analyzing automated transaction monitoring alerts.
- Involvement in regulatory horizon scanning, including interpreting the regulation, scoping and analysis, and implementing new regulation changes.
- Reviewing new publications from regulators and communicating their impact to stakeholders.
Hard Skills Requirements:
- Series 7 and 24 licenses required.
- At least 8+ years of compliance experience, preferably in a senior role supporting a broker-dealer.
