The candidate for Senior Tax Manager will primarily focus on domestic and global tax matters and be responsible for all aspects of Coinbase’s US federal and non-US income tax compliance. The candidate will be an integral part of the Coinbase tax operations team supporting the day to day operations of the global tax function. This inidual also will work closely with the broader Coinbase finance function and help drive initiatives for continuous process improvements.
The Coinbase tax operations team ensures that Coinbase complies fully with its tax obligations in all of the jurisdictions in which Coinbase operates. This includes filing timely tax returns, providing for taxes accurately and completely in its financial statements and supporting business operations to ensure an optimal and efficient tax structure. This position will report directly to Solutions Engineering within the Business Development team, with the opportunity to grow with the role and company.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Interface with the development teams of high-profile projects building or partnering with Kadena
- Conduct thorough assessments, architecture, testing and validation of integrations to ensure reliability, security, and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues promptly, providing timely support to external teams
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, protocols, and standards relevant to Sales Engineer and identify opportunities
- Serve as a technical liaison between external teams and internal stakeholders, advocating needs from external partners
What Sets You Apart
- 5-7 years of experience as a solutions or sales engineer
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively
- Familiarity and experience within the blockchain industry including proficiency in at least one programming language such as PACT, Haskell, javascript, or typescript
- Experience in integration engineering with a strong understanding of API designs and infrastructure setup
- Solid understanding of security best practices with auditing, validators, and bug bounties
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot complex technical questions

This role has an annual starting salary range of $140,000 - $160,000 + company coin options + benefits listed below. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to your inidual skills and experience.

Job Overview
As a Content Manager at SCRIB3, you will be more than just a writer. You will oversee the entire content lifecycle, from strategy development to content creation, for our crypto clientele. This role demands exceptional writing, strategic planning, subject matter expertise, and operational efficiency to ensure that our content meets and exceeds client expectations.
Responsibilities
Strategic Content Development: Understand client needs and collaborate on content strategies to achieve marketing and business goals. Regularly review competitor and client audits to innovate and optimize content.
Content Lifecycle Management: Take full ownership of the content creation process (developing, writing, and editing) ensuring it is client-ready. Implement and maintain systems for efficiency and effectiveness in content production.
Data-Driven Decision-Making: Analyze content performance metrics and suggest improvements to optimize content to client’s goals.
Client and Team Communication: Lead content discussions, interact directly with clients, and actively seek feedback for continuous improvement.
Project Management: Manage content calendars and coordinate with various departments to streamline the content process.
Leadership: Guide and mentor Junior Content Managers to continuously improve their content quality and skills
Qualifications*
- Extremely crypto-native across the DeFi and Infrastructure sectors in each respective ecosystem, and other segments of the Web3 market for clients outside of DeFi and Infrastructure. You should be able to explain the various technologies/GTM approaches and tradeoffs amongst dApps/infra solutions in these ecosystems.
- You should be an active CT participant – able to articulate the latest insider meta and riff on deeply-rooted memetic dynamics alongside the tech and tradeoffs amongst dApps/infra solutions in these ecosystems.
- You have produced an expansive content portfolio (blog posts, research papers, X threads, etc.) & proven track record in content management in the crypto space.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- Strong background in strategic and critical thinking.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience in understanding content performance metrics.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented in your day-to-day work and communications.
