What do we do?
Chainflip is building the next generation of native cross-chain financial infrastructure, starting with seamless asset swapping and now expanding into cross-chain lending.
We enable users to swap major crypto assets like BTC, ETH, and SOL across chains — without wrapped tokens— and have already processed almost $4 billion in trades since launch. Chainflip achieves this by running its own blockchain and a network of validators that control vaults across multiple ecosystems, making the user experience smooth, secure, and fast.
Now, we’re building a generalised cross-chain lending product, allowing users to borrow and lend native assets like BTC, ETH, or USDC directly, with no friction and no need to wrap, bridge, or manage multiple wallets. This is a huge leap forward for DeFi UX, and one of the most ambitious product design challenges in the space.
We’re a team of 30, deeply experienced and passionate about solving hard UX problems in crypto, like hiding the complexity of multi-chain workflows, making interactions work seamlessly, and turning powerful infrastructure into intuitive, elegant interfaces. Headquartered in Berlin, we champion flexible work styles, encouraging both in-office collaboration and the freedom of remote stints. If you’re excited to shape DeFi UX, we’d love to meet you.
What’s the Job?
We’re looking for a Lead Product Designer with experience designing crypto or DeFi products, someone who understands the unique UX challenges of decentralised products and wants to push them forward.
You’ll be the design owner across our product portfolio, from our cross-chain swapping platform to our upcoming lending product, which enables users to borrow and lend native assets like BTC, ETH, and USDC across chains natively. These are some of the most complex UX problems in the space, and we’re solving them in ways no one else is.
Your job is to deeply understand our users by defining, experimenting and iterating to solve these problems. You’ll help us eliminate friction, abstract away complexity, and design experiences that feel seamless, even when they’re powered by multiple blockchains.
The Product team is a lean cross-functional team composed of six Engineers, a Product Lead, and, soon to join, Lead Designer. The nature of this team means communication and collaboration are taken very seriously.
What you will do:
- Lead projects from discovery to launch, balancing attention to detail with low-fidelity sketches as needed
- Align input from business goals, technical requirements, and data to design concepts that can be tested with users and partners
- Create user flows, user journeys, interactive prototypes, and MVPs for testing that help validate potential concepts with users, using Figma
- Design across web and mobile while reviewing & testing the resulting experience meets expectations
- Collaborate with cross-functional peers to drive product strategy and design a holistic experience for our users and partners
- And much more! No matter which product you work on, you will be exposed to the fascinating trade-offs and opportunities that come with designing for the DeFi space.

* We’re not your family and don’t pretend to be. We expect you to get things done and work hard to help us meet your goals. But you should spend time with your family and friends, so you should find the balance that accomplishes both.* We’re a small team and aim to accomplish massive things as a lean team. Everyone who works at Depot is a self starter and is deeply passionate about the problems we’re solving, and want to solve them well.* We want you to own it. About Kodara
Kodara is building the future of expertise. Founded by Lucas Lee-Tyson, who grew a digital marketing business to over $58 million before realizing its fatal flaw, our company was born from a powerful insight: clients don't want more information; they want results. They are overwhelmed with courses and coaching that feel like "homework" and are desperate for a shortcut to their goals.
Our mission is to solve the "Expert's Dilemma". We are the world's first platform that allows an expert to turn their entire mind into an AI-powered "digital worker". We're not building another chatbot. We're creating a new business model within the emerging $4.5 trillion "Digital Labor" industry, enabling experts to package their unique discernment and processes into an autonomous engine that delivers real results for their clients.
We're a small, ambitious team poised to define a new category, and we're looking for our first designer to help us shape this vision.
The Role: Founding Product Designer
This is a rare opportunity to be the first designer on the team and a foundational architect of the Kodara platform. You will work directly with our CEO (Lucas) and CTO (Andrei) to translate our powerful vision into an elegant, intuitive, and empowering user experience.
Our clients are coaches and consultants like Leanne and Sandra, who feel the daily friction of juggling multiple systems, fighting with "bad intern" AI that gets things "half right, but half wrong", and feeling the pressure of a marketing treadmill that isn't working. Your job is to design the product that provides them with control, reliability, and profound relief.
Responsibilities
Own the User Experience: Lead the end-to-end design process, from user research and journey mapping to wireframing, high-fidelity UI, and prototyping.
Simplify Complexity: Translate sophisticated AI concepts—like knowledge graphs, data connectors, and autonomous agents—into intuitive and accessible interfaces that don't overwhelm our users.
Strategic Collaboration: Partner with the CEO on product strategy and vision, and with the CTO to ensure your designs are technically feasible.
User-Centric Research: Conduct user interviews and testing to deeply understand our customers' emotional triggers, pain points, and workflows, ensuring our product solves their real-world problems.
Build the Foundation: Create and maintain a comprehensive design system from the ground up to ensure product consistency and scalability as we grow.
Who You Are
You are an experienced Product Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on complex SaaS applications.
You are a master of modern design tools (e.g., Figma) and have a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
You are fascinated by AI and energized by the challenge of designing for new, complex technologies. Experience with data visualization or AI products is a huge plus.
You are a strategic thinker who can contribute to the product vision, not just execute on a roadmap. You are an excellent communicator who can clearly articulate your design decisions and the user needs that drive them.
You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, are comfortable with ambiguity, and are excited by the prospect of having a massive impact as a foundational team member.
Why Join Kodara?
Foundational Impact: As our first designer, you won't just be improving a product—you'll be defining it. Your work will shape the user experience for our entire platform.
Define a New Category: You will be at the forefront of the AI and Digital Labor revolution, building a product that changes how expertise is packaged and sold.
Direct Collaboration: Work directly with the founding team, with a real voice in the company's direction. Your insights will be crucial to our success.
Solve Real Problems: Design a product that provides tangible relief and control to a user base of passionate experts and entrepreneurs.

We’re building Vy — an AI app that changes how people use their computers. No APIs, no endless integrations, no cloud lock-in. Just an AI that works where you work, across all your apps and files, right on your device.
And here’s the crazy part: it’s already working. We’ve got blind users running their computers with Vy. We’ve got real estate agents, recruiters, developers, and ops managers using it daily to get things done. People all over the world are using Vy to do things they couldn’t before — and spending way less time glued to their screens.
Now we’re looking for our next teammate: a UX Designer / Product Designer / Frontend Engineer (with the emphasis on UX design). This isn’t your typical “make the button blue” gig. It’s about designing how humans will interact with AI at the operating system level. There are a ton of unknowns, we’re essentially defining a brand new category — which makes this role both a huge challenge and a huge opportunity.
What we’d love in you:
• Deep passion for design and user experience (you’ll be the one shaping how people interact with Vy).
• Ability to build — you’re not just a Figma wizard, you can jump into TypeScript and bring your designs to life.
• Curiosity and adaptability — this is uncharted territory. We’re learning, experimenting, and reinventing daily.
• A strong sense of empathy — our users range from blind accessibility pioneers to busy professionals who just want their computers to work for them.
Details:
• We’re based in Seattle, but open to hybrid or remote if it’s the right fit.
• We’re a well-funded startup, so you’ll have both stability and the chance to move fast.
• You’ll be working directly with me and the core team, shaping not just a product but an entire new market.
If you’ve ever wanted to design something that could actually change how people use computers forever, this is that role.

We’re rebuilding our internal dashboard on a LAMP stack (PHP views, Bootstrap, jQuery). You’ll be the UX/UI owner who makes it fast, clear, and pleasant to use - then implements the front‑end details yourself in Bootstrap/jQuery and light PHP view edits. You’re as comfortable finding rough edges and breaking things as you are polishing layouts, tables, and forms.
What you’ll do
- Own UI/UX for core dashboard flows: navigation, search/filter, tables, forms, detail views, states (loading/empty/error).
- Implement UI in Bootstrap 5 + jQuery within PHP templates (light view edits; no heavy backend).
- “Break it before users do”: run pragmatic QA, fix responsive issues, improve a11y/contrast, tighten microcopy.
- Partner tightly with backend to scope thin slices, ship quickly, and iterate based on feedback.
- Establish lightweight patterns (spacing, density, tokens/variables) so the design stays consistent as we grow.
What success looks like (first 30–60 days)
- Many high‑impact UI/UX improvements shipped (keeping in mind time‑to‑task, fewer clicks, reduced support pings).
- Primary screens refactored with clean Bootstrap utilities; mobile responsiveness feels intentional, with attention to performance and speed as part of the UX.
- Clear empty, error, and loading states across key flows; obvious actions and safer destructive flows.
- A short “UI QA checklist” we can reuse on every new feature.
You’ll bring
- 3-6 years designing and building data‑heavy dashboards/tools (not just marketing sites).
- Fluency with Bootstrap 5 (grid, utilities, theming/variables) and jQuery behaviors/validation.
- Comfort editing PHP view files/partials to apply classes, extract components, and tidy markup.
- Strong written and spoken English - crisp specs, concise PRs, clear rationale.
- Practical AI usage in your everyday workflow, and the way you responsibly supervise its output.
Nice to have
- Figma components/tokens, icon systems, disciplined handoff, and slicing the design into theme-ready, HTML-exportable files.
- A11y (WCAG 2.2 basics), microcopy craft, internationalization awareness.
- Basic e2e testing exposure (Playwright/Cypress) or BrowserStack for cross‑browser checks.
- Version control mastery in team frameworks
How we work
- Friday→Friday sprints, small specs, fast feedback loops.
We value clear writing, simple solutions, and measurable outcomes.
Slack, Asana, and Google Meet.

crypto payfull-timenon-techproductproduct designer
We’re looking for a hands-on, self-driven UI/UX Product Designer to own end-to-end product UI/UX for Status Apps across mobile, desktop, and web.
Our mission is to give people the freedom to communicate and transact privately, without surveillance or intermediaries. If you want to design for freedom, privacy, decentralisation, and censorship-resistance — not just another SaaS dashboard—read on.
At Status, we’re building a privacy-preserving Super App for secure, confidential communication and financial coordination with friends, communities, and business partners. The Status app brings together:
- an anonymous, peer-to-peer private messenger that makes it easy to communicate and coordinate your financial transactions and interactions in one place;
- a secure, self-custodial, multi-chain crypto wallet to manage your assets without giving up your privacy;
- censorship-resistant, decentralised communities for people who value privacy, freedom, and autonomy in their digital interactions.
This role isn’t about handing over perfect Figma files—it’s about working with Product and Developers on UI/UX that balances usefulness and aesthetics, enabling fast development iterations, and setting up a design process that empowers developers to move forward on their own when possible—while you focus on big, strategic design challenges (UI/UX research for new features, complex flows, new capabilities).
You’ll join a team that values usefulness over pixel perfection and believes UI/UX should be plain and simple, emphasising product usefulness while still being aesthetic. Inspired by Dieter Rams’ design principles, we believe design should be:
- Useful—solving real user needs and making complex crypto interactions simple.
- Aesthetic—pleasing and coherent, because good design feels good to use.
You should be a driver and a self-starter—ready to roll up your sleeves and take care of end-to-end UI/UX for the Status apps (mobile, desktop, and web), while working in tandem with the Program Lead on user research and use-case refinement. This role requires a strong understanding of mobile UI/UX and creating designs that work across devices—from mobile to desktop and web. Your UI/UX won’t be created in isolation—it will be based on product requirements, user research, and development team input on technical feasibility.
Responsibilities:
- Work with product and developers on defining and refining user flows / journeys, use cases, user interfaces for new and existing Status App features
- Produce storyboards, wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, UI kits for the Status app products that work across mobile, desktop, and web — but know when “good enough” is better than perfect.
- Research and prototype new feature UI/UX implementations.
- Set up UI/UX design workflows that scale UI/UX design without the development team needing you in every detail.
- Develop and maintain a cohesive design system aligned with the Status brand.
- Build an understanding of system capabilities to anticipate error states, loading states, and overall implementation effort.
- Integrate with our development team to ensure they receive UI/UX design support as they progress on development.
- Work with product on user research and usability testing to guide product decisions.
- Translate complex crypto and Web3 concepts into clear, intuitive experiences.
We are looking for:
- 2+ years’ mobile UI/UX experience with designs that work across mobile, desktop, and web (must-have). You’ll be asked to demonstrate cross-device examples from your portfolio.
- Startup experience and comfort with fast-paced, ever-changing/adaptable environments.
- UI/UX work for Web2/Web3 products — at least one of: crypto wallets, messengers, or social platforms.
- Active participant in web3/crypto/privacy — not just a user (open-source contributions, dev-community activity, small projects, etc.). Tell us :)
- Comfortable moving and iterating fast on UI/UX: reuse existing components/designs where reasonable; avoid long explorations; produce “bare” first iterations (no whistles and bells).
- Strong Figma skills, and open to other design tools, if needed.
- Able to create/edit product images/videos as needed (good enough and authentic).
- Organised without being robotic — plan and prioritise according to the roadmap and product priorities, but ready to jump on urgent or unexpected work.
- Strong communication and collaboration in a fully remote, async-first environment.
- Autonomous — comfortable working asynchronously, remotely, and without constant oversight.
- Curious — always learning and tracking what’s happening in tech, privacy, and decentralisation.
- Located in or near the European time zone.
- Fluent in English.
Bonus points:
- Open-source contributions or experience working in public repositories (e.g., GitHub).
- Able to create product and ad illustrations.
- UI/UX experience working on an open-source project.
- Strong interest in Web3/blockchain/decentralised technologies.
Why Join Us?
- Work on apps that respect people’s privacy and autonomy, not exploit them.
- Fully remote, async-first culture — built for independence, not micromanagement.
- Small, agile team where your work directly shapes the product.
- Open-source ethos: your work is public, transparent, and impactful.
Hiring process:
The hiring process for this role will be:
- Intro call with Talent team member
- Portfolio review on UI/UX design and component decisions with our UI/UX designer
- Task + debrief interview (Optional)
- Product Lead interview
The steps may change along the way if we see it makes sense to adapt the interview stages, so please consider the above as a guideline.
Compensation:
We are happy to pay in 100% fiat or any mix of fiat and/or crypto. For more information regarding perks at Status: https://people-ops.status.im/tag/perks/.
