The Position  

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a prominent software consultancy in Canada. As our Generalist, People Ops Co-op, you’ll be helping us find, grow, andenable the company’s people resources.  

This role will support our organization's mission in reviewing and updating our existing People Ops policies, processes and procedures, as well as training kits. 

Your Responsibilities 

  • Conduct research on People Ops policies, processes and procedures
  • Conduct research and come up with innovative ideas to enhance employees experience in fully remote environments
  • Help review and update our existing local and global People Ops policies, processes, and procedures
  • Help produce HR Organizational Process Assets such as Presentation decks, Process Manuals and Guidelines
  • Help produce and update our Reports, Employee Surveys, and other material related to People Operations  
  • Assist with instructional design for internal workshops and help in producing training kits for in house training sessions
  • Assist with culture activities, including events, monthly campfires, team engagement activities, etc. 
  • Other duties as required. 

About You  

  • A bachelor’s / diploma in Human Resource Management or Business Administration. 
  • Prior experience as an HR generalist, or in recruitment and/or administration. 
  • You are extremely organized with strong attention to detail and strong interest in people operations. 
  • You enjoy documentation, developing MS Power Point presentations, and MS Word reports. 
  • You have extreme ownership, love to roll up your sleeves and get stuff done. You have a strong drive to deliver. 
  • Highly adaptable (i.e. working in a fast-paced environment where things change frequently sounds exciting to you.
