We are proud of the full team we have assembled and celebrate leadership qualities throughout all levels and across all functions. Every member of our team has excelled and achieved professionally and academically, and hail from leading tech, consulting and banking firms, and/or are entrepreneurs, and/or hold PhDs from top research institutions and/or MBA graduates from top business schools. And, every member of our team works to do not only their work at the highest level but also the work – the work of the brand, the work to achieve our singular mission. Enabling that success isn’t drive and intelligence alone – it’s also subject matter and market expertise, which is where our senior leaders excel. Our executive team has an average of over 20 years of experience at top global brands, tier 1 management consultancies, successfully scaled start-ups, and global NGOs. They also trained at the best academic institutions from around the world.
We care about our people and think they deserve the best. We currently offer equity packages and other benefits on top of cash compensation.

We are looking for a talented Technical Product Manager to join our team. You will be working with our developers and designers to build outstanding web and mobile applications for our clients. A successful Product Manager at LaunchPad Lab is comfortable in three key areas:
Product Management (Inputs)
- We think of great Product Management as helping clients figure out what to build; or the Inputs for a project.
- Collaborate with clients to define a product vision for consumers, B2B, and internal business applications.
- Facilitate product discovery activities such as Story Mapping, Customer and Stakeholder Interviews, and Project Chartering.
- Work with Design and Engineering teams to shape projects that turn our clients' vision into useful and usable software.
- Advise clients on Product Management best practices to create healthy decision-making processes throughout the project.
- Stay current on technology trends. For example, you might understand the difference between PWA and Native apps, have a conversation about communicating with IoT devices, and understand how Accessibility and Internationalization considerations impact a product.
Project Management (Outputs)
- We think of great Project Management as helping our delivery teams ship quality work; it's the Outputs of a project.
- Ensure delivery teams are in line with timelines, scope, and budgets.
- We do not follow a strict Scrum Process, but we leverage many of the same rituals within our project teams such as Grooming, Retros, Planning, and Client Demos. You should be comfortable running these types of meetings.
- Be comfortable having difficult conversations with clients if there is an issue with project health. We lead with transparency, whether it's good or bad news.
- Be the main point of contact with clients regarding project status, scope clarification, and UAT.
- Be comfortable performing QA to confirm that shipped work is meeting client expectations.
Account Management (Outcomes)
- We think of great Account Management as helping our clients achieve their business goals; or the Outcomes of a project.
- We believe we can only be successful if our clients are successful. We live by the motto "Own the outcomes." This means truly caring about the value that our work delivers to our clients.
- Understand the ins and outs of our clients, including their goals or KPIs that drive their business. This perspective is a critical compass to have while making project tradeoffs and in helping identify new opportunities for LaunchPad Lab to provide value.
- Ask questions about other parts of our clients' organizations, and create recommendations on how custom software could help those areas be more successful.
- Escalate to LaunchPad Lab Partners to discuss new account opportunities and risks.
About LaunchPad Lab
