Want to shape the future of a growing, disruptive Cloud platform?
< class="h2">About GatsbyThe web is a critical resource for all of humanity in the 21st century. Gatsby makes creating for the web dramatically better by making creating novel experiences easier -- shortening the time to try experiments, collaborate around changes, and to deploy incremental improvements. Gatsby has quickly grown to be one of the biggest and most exciting open source projects on the web, with almost 100,000 developers using Gatsby every month.
As a remote-first, community-focused team, Gatsby’s core values include transparency (we work in public most of the time); creating a safe, high-trust team; building incredible developer experiences; maintaining a healthy working environment; and helping deliver web experiences that feel amazing to use on every device and connection type.
< class="h2">Details of this role:- Type of work: Full time
- Location: Remote (preference for UTC-8 to UTC+2)
Here at Gatsby, the teams supporting our Cloud product have had a successful year of launches. We started 2021 with a few point solutions for running CI/CD builds as well as content previews. Today, we offer a full end-to-end solution for shipping Gatsby sites including a CDN and serverless functions.
However, we’re still growing as a business and have a lot to do to make that platform even more compelling to the market. We need to double down on the things that are delighting our customers. We need to make our Cloud product even stickier, while also recognizing that modern CI/CD tools are oftentimes embedded and experienced in other mediums (email, GitHub comments, Slackbots, etc).
We need a product manager that can think in terms of ownership of the platform, providing insight to their engineering and design partners about what solutions we need to improve, what new features we might consider, and what jobs our customers are trying to get done with our tools.
< class="h2">What you’ll do on a day-to-day basis:- Determine what gets built and delivered to customers. You’ll acquire, as quickly as possible, deep knowledge of the customer, of the data, of internal stakeholders, and of the market and industry. Your job is to see the forest and the trees clearly enough to identify the product paths through it.
- Work directly with engineers to build exceptional products. You will lead the product development process from roadmap development to building, testing, and launching products on time.
- Balance the business needs and technical constraints by navigating bottlenecks, providing escalation management, and anticipating trade-offs.
- Work with product marketing to position Gatsby Cloud’s features. Positioning will be crucial in making Gatsby Cloud and therefore the Gatsby framework a clear choice for headless content projects on the web.
- Balance multiple personas. You’ll be responsible for building for a number of different personas that are using Gatsby (content creator & editors, other marketers, execs, agencies) & will need to balance their needs and priorities.
- Advocate for the customer by being a champion for the user experience and having deep customer empathy.
You’ll need to hit the ground running, which means experience getting your head around these aspects as quickly as possible.
- Launched products successfully as a PM in a startup environment. We’re iterating rapidly on a number of fronts, and tend to optimize for quickly getting product in the hands of users (and receiving feedback) over Platonic feature-completeness.
- Familiarity with SaaS Platforms and Infrastructure. A large part of what you’re doing is building and improving a rock-solid CI/CD platform with an integrated CDN that is best in class for Gatsby developers. Understanding infrastructure and the core job being done by developers and content editors when they initiate builds is key to success.
- Familiarity with the developer persona. The developer persona is at the heart of the Gatsby experience, including the Gatsby CLI and suite of related tools (GraphQL, hot reloading environment, etc). Comfort with technical details is paramount — bonus points for specific knowledge about front-end development and/or CI/CD pipelines.
- Great judgment. You will need to consistently manage tradeoffs and evaluate new ideas. These decisions often have a vast impact. As Amazon puts it, “leaders are right. A lot.”
- Write, speak, and think clearly. Gatsby is a distributed company and relies heavily on crisp and thorough writing. Your ability to get the right feedback and align the company will rely heavily on thoughtful synthesis of internal and external conversations and strategic planning into product documents, and clear communication to all stakeholders.
- Leverage metrics to focus on value. You have experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and assertions of business value. You also leverage your strong analytical skills and ability to e deep to develop a nuanced understanding of your product and customers, and to create effective strategies.
- Comfortable owning entire products. You will be managing a large part of Gatsby’s commercial product. As a product-driven company, a large proportion of whether we hit our annual revenue targets will be whether we’re able to ship enough value to our company.
- High level of curiosity. The web is an incredibly erse place with a huge number of different communities. You’re fascinated to learn about the challenges, workflows, and hopes and dreams of a wide variety of people.
- Trustworthiness. A great product manager is trusted deeply by the engineering team. Tech leads and engineering ICs feel comfortable DM-ing their product manager at any time when they run across product questions in their day-to-day work, because they can count on getting accurate, thoughtful, helpful context.
Research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of the criteria, women and other marginalized folks tend to only apply when they check every box. If you think you have what it takes, but don’t necessarily meet every single point on the job description, please still get in touch. We’d love to have a chat and see if you could be a great fit.
< class="h2">The best parts of this job- Your role will be key in making Gatsby the next way to build on the web—and a technology that enables the next billion internet users.
- You’ll have an opportunity to contribute to an early stage start-up. Still a relatively small team, Gatsby provides product managers the opportunity to have tremendous impact across the organization: directly with design and engineering but also alongside marketing and sales. Everyone’s contributions matter at this stage and maybe no one's more than the product team.
- You get to interact with an active, open, friendly community of developers that are really excited about building high-performance, fun-to-use websites. Their energy is often infectious, and you will leave conversations with them even more excited about Gatsby.
- This role involves a demanding audience with many options. We’re building a tool for an audience that has a high degree of context about the tool we’re building and have a plethora of options that they could choose instead of our commercial offering.
- You will need to ruthlessly prioritize your workflow. Because our user audience is so erse, there’s a huge amount of potential things to do at any time. You’ll need to be comfortable with thoughtfully choosing where to focus and communicating that.
- Stakeholders are dispersed far and wide. The largest clustering of people in one place is 5 folks in our Berkeley office. We have a strong sense of identity and are very close, but if in-person interactions with a large number of people is important to you then this may not be a good fit.
- Unlimited vacation policy, with a minimum of 15 days paid vacation time
- Skip the commute with remote work

About Songbird
Songbird Therapy is a modern and technology-enabled provider of in-home autism care and children's behavioral health. We're one of the fastest-growing consumer healthcare startups, and we're well-funded (>$10mm) by leaders in Silicon Valley and digital health, like Kleiner Perkins. Now, we're bringing together the best therapists and modern technology - building a world where every child can access world-class care, uniquely tailored to them.
What you'll own
As a member of our engineering team, you'll have the opportunity to conceptualize and ship products end-to-end on a fast-moving team. You'll partner with the founders, product leader, and an operations leader to ship products that dramatically improve the quality of care for children with autism. You'll heavily shape both our product strategy as well as our engineering processes, working in a self-directed manner to ensure you're working on the highest leverage problems. Your goal will be to help create a care delivery software platform that helps us elevate the standard of care for children with autism.
You will:
- Own product development end-to-end: prioritizing and spec-ing out projects, full-stack development, integration testing, and customer interactions
- Own full-stack development on the latest technologies: user interface and front-end development, backend APIs, infrastructure, and testing
- Drive the product development for a care delivery software platform used by families and therapists, sometimes being your own product manager
- Help set up and iterate on foundational engineering processes, including version control, integration testing, deployment infrastructure, and internal documentation
- Take initiative, hustle, and fill in gaps—believing that nothing at Songbird is someone else's problem
What you should bring
- 3+ years of professional experience at a fast-moving startup, preferably with 1+ year owning an entire product area
- Velocity—your peers know you to be in the top 10th percentile of engineering velocity and ability to get things done
- Experience with the latest frontend and backend technologies: React, Python, Javascript, etc.
- Proven ability to work in a self-directed manner, independently able to prioritize initiatives to optimize for impact
- A past entrepreneurial proofpoint: founding or exploring ideas, build at an early-stage startup, or building a net new product and team at a larger company
- Mission-driven, and excited to build products that change the daily lives of families
Values we live by
- Motivated by supporting families. Our mission is to bring world-class, personalized care to children with autism—and that work energizes and inspires you.
- Seek out and take ownership. You're hungry for impact and believe in seeking out opportunities to take ownership to solve problems and support others—even when it means questioning the way things are done.
- Uplift others. You thrive in a team environment**.** You care about uplifting others and helping them succeed. You enable others' strengths and interests because you care.
- Driven to move fast. You believe in moving fast to support your teammates and help bring early intervention to families in need—every day counts.
- Embrace gratitude and adventure. You bring gratitude, humor and joy into your work, which elevates our team culture.
Benefits we offer
- Compassionate, energizing, and mission-driven culture of supporting families and innovation
- Competitive medical, vision dental, and life insurance
- Opportunities for internal career growth
- Remote-first workplace, with options for coworking if desired
- Competitive equity in rapidly-scaling digital health startup

About the Role:You would be joining our PM team working with a fast-growing and fast-moving engineering organization. Our product today manages millions of dollars of invoices and pays thousands of participants on both sides of the market. But, we have only scratched the surface in the space of products and experiences we could build, and we need your help.
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager that's excited to be a generalist in our rapidly growing Marketplace. You will not be building things with the hope that people need it, but rather filling the desperate needs of our users while innovating in ways they didn't even know they needed. You'll have to be adaptable, learn quickly, and have a deep interest in understanding our business, our users, and our product.
I’d read our Product Team Standards document (https://creatingvalue.substack.com/p/high-quality-and-fast) and our Product Team Structure document (https://creatingvalue.substack.com/p/the-product-team) to get a sense of how we think and what we value.
Beyond the basics, what will make you successful:Extreme Ownership: the buck stops with you, no matter what anyone else did or did not do. You're self-reliant, and can get things done in the chaos that is an early-stage startup scaling quickly.Extreme Curiosity: you ask \"why\" 3-5 times in a row for the same problem and are excited to tap into your inner archaeologist -- digging and digging and not being satisfied until you truly understand the root cause.1+ years of PM experience, with some coming preferably from marketplace companies. You've shipped features in a small PM team, love both the strategy and the details.

tl;dr: We're a venture-backed early-stage startup hiring a product manager to support our team in building our credit card platform. This position is fully remote, but US-time zones only, please! We're on an ambitious mission to make getting and staying healthy accessible to all. More details about us, the role, and the interview process below.
< class="h3">Who We AreNess is an early-stage, remote-first startup at the unique intersection of fintech and healthcare. We’re on a mission to build a world where everyone can afford to get and stay healthy.
Fresh off a $15.5m seed round funded by some of the most iconic operators and entrepreneurs in the space (e.g. Sweetgreen, Headspace, One Medical, Thrive Market) and started by the former CEO & Founder of Greatist (acquired by Healthline in 2019), we're building an AmEx-like credit card for health. We’ve got enormous ambitions to flip healthcare on its head through an alternative to health insurance that rewards consumers for the right behaviors and brings down the cost of healthcare.
< class="h3">What Impact You Can MakeGenerally, we're looking for someone who can drive the product execution to build the first version of a mobile-native product and has previously shipped a delightful fintech product. We can't build this business without someone like you!
Ultimately, you will be one of our most important builders central to shaping a truly innovative product with the potential to change healthcare forever.
< class="h3">Our Core ValuesWe aren't a family, we're an incredible team. A super team that does things differently... At Ness, our core values are the source of our POWER.
✏️ Pencil It In
We move fast, try new things fearlessly, think differently, and learn from our mistakes.
🙏🏼 One Ness
We're all on the same team, have short memories, plus can "disagree and commit."
🥓 Work Crispy
We value clear, rigorous thought, give regular feedback, and we're always prepared.
🦕 Embrace Your Mythical Creature
Our differences make us special. Come as you are (but no trolls, please!)
👏🏽 Right Way To Win (Not The Easy Way)
We believe in doing well AND doing good.
Requirements
< class="h3">You May Be The Ideal Candidate If...None of these are requirements, just the kinds of people and experiences we think could be most successful here.
- You have 2+ years of experience in product management or relevant technical experience in fintech, ideally in something related to credit cards.
- You have a track record of building and shipping successful products.
- You’ve proven to be entrepreneurial in some way.
- You're ready for a ride on a startup rollercoaster.
- You focus on and rally others around achieving outcomes.
- You've got a positive growth mindset and are energized by complex challenges.
- Help support the development of our first card product and evolve our rewards app product, too.
- Gather insights—including customer research, partner feedback, external market data, to inform your product hypotheses.
- Collaborate with other functions across the company to prioritize technology investments.
- Continuously prioritize the needs of customers and the business.
- Help communicate product priorities across the company.
First, we don't discriminate. We know from experience a more erse and inclusive team leads to bigger impact and success.
1. Meeting / First Hello
You'll talk to our CEO & Founder, Derek, in a 15-30 minute phone screen. There's nothing to prepare in advance.
First, we want to figure out if you've got the right experience for this position and working at Ness is a fit for you and us. We'll have reviewed your application and resume in detail, so this discussion will be mostly a "behavioral" interview focused on what you've done before. We want to build conviction you'll succeed in this job the same way you've succeeded in the past.
Then, you'll have time to ask us anything! (Well, mostly anything.)
2. Product Sessions
After this, you'll spend one 45-minute session focused on your product sense and then potentially a second 45-minute session focused on metrics and execution, all with one of our technical experts. This is a chance for you to share your expertise and for us to get a deeper sense of your ability. We'll share more details about this when we get there!
3. Meet the Team
Next, you'll talk to two of our team members for 30-60 minutes each, including our Head of Engineering and our Chief Experience Officer.
Here, we want to explore if we're a good fit for each other. We will have reviewed your application, product sessions, and any other meeting notes in detail, so the discussion will be focused mostly on what brings out the best in you and what's next. We want to be confident Ness can offer the environment (culture, responsibility, org structure, etc...) that's led you to the most professional success so far.
Then, you'll have time to ask questions, too!
4. References
With your help, we'll reach out to folks you've worked with in the past. We're usually pretty far along here, so this is mostly about learning from outside perspectives about how to manage and empower you best.
5. Final Meeting / The Hang
If relevant, we might have you also meet some other folks on the team. This can be a great opportunity to get a better feel for us and for us to get a better feel for you!
6. The Decision / Job Offer
Got this far? That means you're in. Expect a personal call and welcome to the team!
No recruiters or agencies, please. Thanks!
Please be aware of fake job offers coming from people claiming to be Ness Well, Inc. employees. Ness employees and/or our recruiters will never ask you for money or personal information like bank account numbers, and will always ask for a phone call or video call as the first step in our hiring process.

Founded in 2017, Boulder Care is a digital clinic offering long-term support and treatment for substance use disorders. Collaborating across medical, behavioral, and psychosocial dimensions, Boulder’s dedicated Care Teams deliver evidence-based care and help participants work toward their inidual goals.
Boulder's model is grounded in value. Through innovative partnerships with leading national health plans like Blue Cross Blue Shield, Boulder’s progressive payment arrangements realign incentives to reward outcomes and reduce total cost of care. We can unlock billions of dollars for the US health system by ensuring patients who are gravely underserved today have the opportunity to get well.
Backed by world-class investors like First Round, Greycroft, Acumen, and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) with more than $20M in funding, Boulder is in an exciting stage of rapid growth.
< class="h4">Our mission
- Based in science: Boulder care teams provide comprehensive, evidence-based treatment that is tailored to each inidual’s unique needs and goals. Boulder teams also help manage a host of co-occurring conditions, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Hepatitis C, women's health, and more.
- Grounded in empathy: We provide unconditional support rooted in harm reduction and trauma-informed care. Patients, peer recovery specialists, and caregivers make important decisions together. Boulder Care focuses on long-term health, happiness, and wellness by addressing non-clinical goals like safe housing, employment, parenting, and financial security just as much as clinical outcomes. This model has resulted in a Net Promoter Score of 91 and 12-month-retention rates that are two times higher than the average outpatient program.
- Breaking down barriers: Boulder's proprietary technology suite makes care accessible, comfortable, and convenient through secure video, phone, and messaging. We're reaching rural communities of the country, where more than 80% of people have little to no access to buprenorphine (Suboxone) prescribers. Boulder provides low-threshold care that is inclusive, empowering, and heavily influenced by participants' stated preferences and goals. Wherever our patients wish to go, we're grateful to go there together.

- The people we care for always come first
- Our opportunity is also our duty, in service to others

< class="h3">About Us

At Turquoise, we're making healthcare pricing simpler, more transparent, and lower cost for everyone. Have you or a family member ever gotten an MRI, a lab, or even a straightforward surgery without knowing the cost in advance? That's bonkers, right? We're working to fix that.
We’ve already launched our consumer-facing website that allows anyone to search and compare hospital insurance rates; something once impossible. Now, we're rolling out a suite of new products for providers, payers, employers, and patients to clean up the healthcare transaction. We want to change how the industry works from the inside out.
We're a Series A startup backed by top VCs a16z, Box Group, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Tiger Global. Most importantly, we're a multi-talented group of folks (moonlighting as authors, bass players, improv instructors, chefs, linguists, and trivia buffs) with a passion for improving healthcare. We're eager to find ambitious and well-rounded teammates to join us on this mission.
< class="h3">The Role
As a Product Manager - Consumer, you will work at the vanguard of the behavior shift in how we shop for healthcare. You will improve the public offerings on the Turquoise website, our white-label storefront interfaces, and devise new ways to add valuable pricing data to the public domain.

You are comfortable with iteration, and you naturally operate with a sense of urgency.

You cultivate a relationship with design and engineering that is collaborative and receptive of input. You have strong opinions, weakly held; it’s a startup after all, and things change quickly!
While healthcare industry experience is not required for this role, experience within a consumer tech company is preferred. You are comfortable ing deep into a complex industry and learning the subject matter quickly.
