Dreamscape Learn (DSL) is a collaborative venture between Dreamscape Immersive and Arizona State University, merging the most advanced experiential pedagogy with the entertainment industry’s best cinematic storytelling to deliver unique virtual reality (VR) and 2D labs and full course experiences which are demonstrably efficacious, readily scalable and emotionally engaging. These VR labs combine the emotional power of Hollywood storytelling, the visceral excitement of theme park rides, and an extraordinary mix of full body tracking and interactivity to create stories and worlds that push the limits of what is possible in virtual reality.
We’re seeking a creative, self-motivated, and collaborative 3D Animator - VR. This opportunity could be an ideal fit if you possess a strong passion for creating and delivering cutting-edge educational products and solutions, encompassing virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies. Under general direction, the 3D Animator -VR will take on a variety of tasks, both independently and in collaboration with other artists, game developers, project leads, and other stakeholders, using emerging technology tools and artificial intelligence to create new story-driven experiences. This inidual will work on a team to create high quality key-frame animations.
For the first three months, this position will be required to travel to Los Angeles up to 5 days per week for comprehensive training facilitated by the expert LA Dreamscape Learn team. These business trips will be at ASU's expense subject to travel policies and procedures found here.
Essential Duties
Create high quality key-frame animations using Maya.
Work in a real-time game engine using Unity
Work closely with Lead Animator and the production team to support animation needs.
Discuss and address notes given by project leadership and stakeholders.
Collaborate with others to come up with creative solutions, identify constraints, and to provide feasibility recommendations.
Work in a fast and iterative manner on animation concepts.

As a member of the Action Lab, and in partnership with the Dean’s Office, the Data Visualization Lead is responsible for transforming complex data sets into compelling, insightful, and aesthetically pleasing visualizations. Working closely with data experts in and outside of Action Lab, unit leaders, and other stakeholders, this position will gather and interpret business requirements, translating them into visual stories that drive decision-making and strategic insights. This role requires skill in creative design, expertise in data, storytelling, business intelligence tools, and a strategic leadership mindset. Likewise, the candidate may direct, train, and oversee staff or student employees, oversee related products developed by other teams, and support the professional growth of the unit.

This is a unique and highly analytical and creative role, requiring strong UX design experience in leading and delivering all design aspects of a usable software product, including field experiences where users work from mobile devices and apps. About This Role

What You Will Be Doing
Outline workflows using interaction diagrams and flow diagrams
Design user interface wireframes and low-fidelity mockups
Create final user interface visual designs within the RefleXion Design System
Map out components and improvements to the RefleXion Design System
Document intended implementations of features, design patterns, and interactions both for internal use (i.e., design documents) and for customer use (i.e., training materials and user manuals)
Plan, execute, and document usability studies remotely, on-site at the RefleXion factory, and in clinical settings around the country
Perform risk-based assessments of features, workflows, and scenarios to improve the safety of the products

The pay range for this role is $90,000 - $135,000 a year.
