General Responsibilities Include:
- Respond to inquiries from internal team members on various topics, providing quick and quality solutions/advice

- Opportunity to assist other members of the People Ops team with miscellaneous projects and tasks as needed
What a Successful 90 Day Review Looks Like
You’ve received a score of 3 for meeting our exceedingly high expectations throughout this review cycle. Here are several things you’ve accomplished in your first 90 days that resulted in this score:
- You ramped up quickly, taking over the management of our internal data systems completely by day 15, created the definition of data integrity and the method of measuring data integrity by day 30, and had completed your first data integrity audit by day 35. From here, you provided the results and expected deliverables to the team, and were able to get all deliverables actioned by day 45, resulting in a data integrity score of 95%.
- You currently maintain a personal average satisfaction rating of 4.5/5 for the quality and timeliness of responses to our internal team members, and have raised the overall feedback participation from an average of 41% to 65% in your first 90 days here.
- Through platform audits that you completed within your first 30 days, there were no instances where an exited team member had not been removed/deactivated from a platform. Additionally, you followed clues in your weekly platform audits that resulted in two process changes to the way we provision platform access.
- You proactively identified at least two security risks through the platform audits and defect hunts you’ve conducted, and have implemented a corresponding SMART plan to address each of them.
- You increased the speed of our team response time to platform access requests by 10%, and used the clues from those access requests to develop at least one WBD that addressed a root problem with our company access.
- You developed a new, scalable system for organizing our groups in Confluence, Gmail and Slack, and created a digital directory that synchronized all this data into one place.
Need to Have Experience:
- At least 2 years experience working in a People Operations (or related) capacity
- Project management experience, specifically being the driver of time-sensitive and confidential projects
- Incredibly organized, detail-oriented, and punctual
- Proficiency with Microsoft and/or Google Drive products like Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets, and Slides/Presentation
- Ability to learn new technology systems quickly
Nice to Have Experience:
- Experience working with employment documents, such as offer letters, consulting agreements, confidentiality agreements, etc.
- Exposure to employment law and general employment best practices
- Experience working cross-culturally and with erse, global teams
- Experience with US visa programs management
- HR Certification like SPHR or equivalent
Required Values
- Initiative- When you see an issue, you jump in and fix it. When you don’t know where to start, you lean on your intuition and judgment, and just start somewhere. You work independently to achieve your goals, and pull in other members of the team when you need them. You are resourceful in finding answers and solutions on your own because you recognize that you have an opportunity to build it better.
- Integrity- You do not share the confidential and sensitive information you have access to with others (unless given permission), and you never use that information for your own personal gain. When we make mistakes, we are immediately honest, especially since the mistakes we have the potential to make can have a massive negative impact on the team members we serve.
- Ownership- If we aren’t making mistakes, then we aren’t moving fast enough. Yes, speed means things break and that’s okay, as long as you have a strong sense of ownership and not only raise your hand when you break something (or notice something is broken), but own the outcome of fixing it.
- Judgment- Knowing when you should make the call, and when you should ask for help can be hard, so having good judgment is very critical in the work we do. The idea is that you can never make a bad decision, but more that we reduce the number of bad decisions over time because we recognize the flaws in our thinking, make improvements and don’t repeat the same (or similar) mistakes again.
- First Principles Thinking- We don’t do something because it’s what we have done before, or because some we trust told us it was the right thing to do. We do things because we have looked at the data and it is telling us it is the right thing to do. We aren’t afraid to tear something down and rebuild from scratch because our ability to quickly innovate allows us to deliver value to our team members faster.

We’re hiring an engineer to build the infrastructure powering our enterprise-grade simulation software. You will architect and maintain critical Unity application logic to meet our customers' needs.
What We Do Today:
* Work across a stack consisting of C++, C# (Unity), Node.js, and Mongo
* Have independence to come up with solutions that balance velocity and elegance* We don’t shy away from hard problems if that’s what is needed to deliver true value* Feel pride and accountability in the code we ship* Dive into new fields outside our comfort zoneWhat We’ve Worked On:
* We’ve built the best-in-class simulation software for industrial buildings on standalone VR devices by creating novel file formats and rendering techniques
* Developed a system for loading and rendering some of the largest construction files (500M+ polygons) on standalone VR hardware like the Oculus Quest (FB used Resolve to demonstrate Quest 2 performance at the Oculus Keynote last year!)* Created the first VR integration for Autodesk BIM 360, the leading cloud platform for hosting building data* Hacked together a multi-user, colocated VR experience for one of the largest construction technology conferences in the world* Developed workflows to help our customers get the most out of VR even when they’re not wearing a headset - like automatically generated PDF reports and integrations with industry leading issue tracking systemsWhat We Need Help With:

**Where is Resolve headquartered?**We are a 100% remote team. We’re currently distributed across the US and New Zealand!
So, remote is a-ok.
**How will Resolve make money?**We’re already making money! We’ve been proud of delivering significant value to our customers that they’re willing to pay for our software on an annual basis. We can tell you specifics in an introductory call.
**Is Resolve funded?**Yes, our investors include Y-Combinator, Metaplanet, GFR, CyberAgent Capital, GFO Companies, Great Oaks Capital, Greg Castle (an early Oculus investor), and Tracy Young and Ralph Gootee (the cofounders of Plangrid), and more.
**What makes Resolve so special?**Resolve has developed a custom model engine and file format to stream large 3D data sets to wireless VR headsets like the Oculus Quest. Unlike other software in the industry we don’t require people to have a high-end gaming GPUs or cut up their model into chunks. And it’s all automatic so we’re not a 3D studio creating bespoke experiences. We’re targeting the Oculus Quest today, but we believe the future of immersive technology will be untethered and look similar. So we’re making sure we’re learning what it takes for people to be productive with these devices today.
**What’s the tech stack?**Our web services are all node.js. We have cloud workers that run C++ code that process 3D meshes so that they’re efficiently transmitted and rendered on wireless VR devices. The end user interfaces with the software through a Unity app. We use Unity to build an APK that runs on the Oculus Quest (Android variant) and an EXE that runs a Windows companion app on the desktop for those without a VR headset. We also have C++ plugins that run on the client app to efficiently handle 3D data at runtime (sometimes we need to do things faster than Unity does out of the box).

Hello, my name is Jason Collett, Head of People for Metabolic, and I need your help. For the last 12 years we’ve been systematically building different pieces of our MetabolicOS – our ecosystem of offerings that empower people to optimize their metabolism to feel their best, look their best, perform their best and live longer. We’re now weaving these disparate elements together to create a unified experience that combines exercise, nutrition, habit change, supplements, coaching and community. This ambitious goal requires we secure uniquely fantastic human capital, which is where you come in.
What Does the Ideal Candidate Look Like?
We are not seeking just any average recruiter – we need a strong organizational architect who has built talent acquisition departments, social marketing/employer branding and teams before. Someone who is steeped in the art and science of reading people, systemizing processes, and is a magnet for the high-performing, happy, humble, hungry people who define our culture. You get a thrill flexing your “sales muscle” when you land a top candidate, you flourish flexing your “marketing muscle” when composing LinkedIn and social media posts that showcase our healthy culture, and you get energized flexing your “EQ muscle” when coaching hiring managers on your optimized recruiting process.
You jump out of bed early with ideas on how to build a full cycle recruiting machine, backed by people, process and technology. You are invigorated in this competitive market because you know you will win, finding the best candidate every time. You have the wisdom and background to legally navigate and document our hiring practices consistently. You have 10-12+ years’ experience successfully recruiting top talent, building employer brands, and have goose bumps reading this description because every fiber of you wants to “do it” (hands on recruiting) while you “build it” (create the machine).
Just as importantly, you’re extremely into health, wellness and/or fitness. You love experimenting with new habits, realize how critically important having an optimized daily routine is and simply can’t get enough of this stuff. Perhaps you’ve had a health challenge that got you interested, or you’ve just always been highly passionate about health, wellness and fitness. Either way, your eyes are lighting up at the possibility of aligning your personal passion with your professional superpower.
If you’re getting that stars-aligned feeling of “this feels like it is written just for me”, please read on.

What’s Our Culture Like?
We’re serious about high-performance, so our culture is built around deep work to allow uninterrupted time for the focus needed to deliver world-class performance. We also focus on real collaboration and transparency to keep us all in alignment and keep office politics out. These aren’t just talking points – we’ve implemented specific policies, for example:
- A standardized 8:30 to 5:00 p.m. ET schedule to protect your personal and family time
- No standing meetings before 1 p.m. ET to empower you with 4 hours of truly deep work to GSD
- Daily huddles and weekly check-ins to brainstorm, align on priorities and remove bottlenecks
- No meetings the first week of the month to gain momentum for the month ahead
Who Are We and How Are We Different?
Our mission is simple: make living healthy easier than living unhealthy. We do that by empowering people to fix their own health with our metabolism-first approach and unified ecosystem that powers our MetabolicOS. 3 things make us different than other brands in the health and wellness space:
- Metabolism-First – After 11 years of trial-and-error with 500k+ people, we’ve found optimizing your metabolism delivers the results you want: feeling your best, looking your best, performing your best and living longer. Your metabolism is your inner compass for health, but most people don’t understand how to read it; once you do, it’ll tell you exactly what to do to help you thrive.
- Inidualized-Approach – Paleo may work great for one person’s metabolism, Vegan for another, Keto for another, etc. Everyone’s different, so to achieve results that stick, those differences must be respected; if not, things will backfire. That’s why our approach is 100% customized to the inidual – there is no perfect program to find, it must be built to support how that specific person’s unique metabolism works. This is where the usual one-size-fits-all solutions fail – they don’t respect our very real inidual differences.
- Integrated Ecosystem – It’s simply too hard to live healthy – lots of great inidual solutions, but nothing is connected. We’re left to stitch everything together, which is confusing. We simplify everything with an integrated suite of the offerings you need to optimize your metabolism. We started with nutrition, then exercise, then supplements, then coaching and are constantly pulling in new pieces of the health puzzle.
We power up this 3-pronged approach with our proprietary Metabolic Optimization System (MetabolicOS) that unites practitioner wisdom and scientific research with ML/AI to deliver a truly customized data-driven consumer experience that helps you dial in your metabolism at any stage of life.
What’s Our Past and Future?
Our company may be a bit confusing at first glance because we built everything organically in reverse, starting with our first nutrition program in 2012, then our first exercise program in 2014 and then launching our full ecosystem of products, including nutraceuticals, functional foods, subscriptions, memberships, 1-on-1 coaching and more. We market these all separately under different DTC websites.
However, now everything’s being centralized under our new brand, Metabolic. We’re currently launching our flagship e-comm website on Metabolic.com and our digital product + e-comm app is soon tofollow. Normally, companies raise money, launch with a brand and then figure out how to make money later. We did that in reverse – creating products that solve specific problems first to bootstrap, scaling that up to fund building out our team and infrastructure, and then retrofitting the brand on top

- Hands-on Skills and Desire – Not just comfortable but energized with the opportunity to both be extremely hands-on initially while you build out your team as you scale things up
- Engineering Mindset – You see everything as a system, can easily identify all of its moving parts, how they relate in logic, time, sequence and function and use that insight to constantly optimize by removing constraints and capitalizing on opportunities with people, process and tech

< class="h1">Why We Exist

Fat is good. "Vegetable" oils are bad. Bad for us. Bad for the planet. How bad?
Increased consumption of vegetable oils is shown to increase the risk of death by 62%, more than moderate smoking. They're also killing the planet. Four of the top five greenhouse gas emitting crops are industrially produced seed oils. And they are hidden everywhere. The average American consumes a staggering 20% of their calories from vegetable oils. We're on a mission to replace these "vegetable" oils in the food system. We believe they are one of the biggest problems when it comes to both rising rates of chronic disease and agricultural impact on climate change and ecosystem destruction. The majority of Americans are sick. Let that sink in. More people have a chronic disease than not in this country! 6 out of 10. And a hundred years ago, almost no one had a chronic disease. Our healthy life expectancy is decreasing for the first time in recorded history. Our solution so far has been more prescription drugs (in 2018, the average American filled eighteen prescriptions).
Our planet is also being destroyed by the day. The Amazon loses about 2 football fields of rainforest every minute, mostly to grow industrial monocrops like seed oils that make us sick. Species extinction is at an all time high. Some projections say we only have 60 harvests left before our soil doesn't support any more life.
The real issue? These problems are interconnected. We're destroying the planet to grow food that makes us sick.
How is this not one of the most important, urgent, and talked about issues of our generation? We want to change that. We want to slow down and ideally reverse the skyrocketing rates of chronic disease and environmental impact caused by what we eat. We truly believe that we can save millions of lives, as well as millions of acres of rainforest, if we are successful in our mission of replacing destructive vegetable oils in our food supply.
That's what drives us, and we hope you'll join us.
< class="h1">ApplyIf you are interested in applying, please include a brief cover letter, and tell us about your relevant experience, why you're interested in this role, and what you do in your own life to improve your health and the health of the planet!
