About the Role

We are seeking a senior product manager to build and extend the data platform we leverage to power our ads and insights businesses that service over 5,000 CPG brands a day.

You will work in collaboration with R&D, data science, data engineering and commercial leadership, to build the foundation that powers how we surface data to internal and external customers.

This is a unique opportunity to have end to end ownership of a technical platform for the company that is core to our growth. Your portfolio will directly impact how some of the world’s largest CPG brands make investment and strategy decisions.

About The Team

The Advertiser Experience team owns the set of systems that power our advertising facing offerings (inclusive of Instacart Ads Manager, Instacart Ads API, Ads Measurement and Data Pipelines). Our teams own the E2E systems from our back-end platforms and data that power a complex ecosystem of CPGs, retailers, customers, and operators .

About The Job

• Manage the roadmap and execution for our ads data platform and data pipelines for a erse set of use cases.
• Drive forward strategy on all aspects of the data platform especially our data sharing practices and ability to derive signal from noise.
• Lead product planning, product & customer discovery, the product development process, effort estimation, and collaboration with teams across the organization (i.e. Data Engineering and Commercial Teams).
• Build and maintain a variety of integrations with a complex ecosystem of 3rd party partners like identity graphs, verification providers, media partners, and clean rooms providers.
• Ensure our ads data platform meets the highest standards for privacy, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
• Intake & validate new ideas through a set of frameworks and drive them into implementable projects.
• Advocate for data quality throughout the entire Ads and Eversight R&D organization, and build tools that allow internal customers to be evangelists themselves.

About You

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience
• Experience managing data products and data platforms
• Experience working in deeply technical domains with the ability to quickly ramp up when onboarding into new areas
• Experience partnering with technical audiences and “translating” to senior audiences across functions
• Direct experience partnering with Data Engineering and Product teams to identify new roadmap opportunities and improvements
• Ability to manage and align multiple stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluent in core data processing technologies like Airflow, dbt, cloud data warehouses
• Experience in influencing and building out multi year strategy

• Create & curate a library of teacher-facing instructional supports, including but not limited to, unit and lesson plans, model videos, and exemplar artifacts
• Develop expertise in regional STEM & ELA assessments to ensure instructional resources are aligned with assessment standards and format when needed.

Talent Coaching and Development

• Assess the effectiveness of implementation of academic priorities and identify greatest instructional levers for student engagement growth, and proficiency. This includes supporting school leaders and building teacher capacity to analyze student data (e.g. Unit Assessment, STEP, MAP) to determine instructional response.
• Engage in a coaching cadence for schools in your portfolio in priority areas, such as close reading, phonics, guided reading, STEM core lesson, STEM corrective instruction, etc.
• Facilitate ongoing training, coaching, and professional development for school leaders and teachers to build the capacity and skills of instructional staff and school leaders
• Provide regular in person and virtual coaching and other support to school leaders as they conduct formal classroom observations, and provide feedback to teachers and school leaders.

About the Job

We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager to join our Life360 Location team. In this high level IC role, you’ll contribute to the definition and implementation of the future vision of the Life360 location and map experience. Your primary goal will be to ensure Life360’s experience is delightful and magical, while driving meaningful member value in the #1 app for everyday family life.

The US based salary range for this position is $170,000 to $240,000. We take into consideration an inidual’s background and experience in determining final salary- therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.

• Product Execution: Have extremely high agency and do what it takes to ensure product changes land in the hands of our members quickly and at high quality.
• Team Catalyst: Work with Engineering and Design and act as an accelerator to bring new experiences to customers faster and ensure we develop feature platforms that are easily extended and expanded to new use cases.
• Systems Thinker: Think about and understand the systems that power complex software and see how a symphony of systems working together create the experience an end user will have. Additionally, think about features beyond user value and how they can be created as systems working in concert with what already exists today.

• Data-Informed: Define the success criteria for initiatives, using opportunity sizing to prioritize initiatives and understand how audiences are responding to the experiences created for them.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of product management working on consumer facing digital experiences with >10mm MAU scale.
• Proven excellence in defining a winning product strategy and driving its tactical execution. Bonus for having done so in complex consumer experiences.
• You have an eye for high quality experiences and a reputation for valuing user experience and building delightful product experiences that stand out from the pack.
• You are a passionate believer that design and user experience is a competitive differentiator in its own right. Data informs you, but user experience excellence takes precedence.
• Focus and thoughtfulness on data and analytics to solve problems while being experienced enough to know the limitations of data.
• You naturally gravitate to risk taking and big swings and are comfortable making decisions with incomplete information.
• Experience in effectively working with multiple teams for collaboration and company-wide project delivery.

In this role, you will spearhead the development of our trust and safety strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our platform adheres to the highest standards of safety, security, and compliance. Leveraging your deep knowledge of the field, along with data insights and user feedback, you will continuously refine and enhance our platform’s integrity features. Some of the initiatives you will shape may include:

What do we need from you?

• Strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in managing large-scale product initiatives
• Excellent communication abilities, capable of articulating strategies and risks to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Strong collaboration skills, especially when it comes to working with specialized teams in Security and Legal to address complex issues
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of driving team-level execution to ensure project success and timely delivery
