About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Front-End developer to join our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) team as we aim to make Circle the top choice for creator/brand-led communities. You’ll be working on features related to Member Management Areas, Member Invite Flows, Member Sign Up/Authentication, Workflows, etc. Some features on our roadmap include rebuilding member invitation flows, creating new analytics views, and enhancing user activity scores.

In this role, you will partake in all stages of the development lifecycle, from initial task definition to final deployment. As a senior developer, you’ll break down large epics into actionable tasks, follow through with development and testing, review PRs, push updates to production, and gradually release behind feature flags. Your responsibilities will also include bug-fixing and continuous improvement of the codebase. This role requires a high level of technical proficiency and a strong understanding of software development best practices.

What will I be doing day to day in this role?

• You will be working as a Full Stack engineer who will tackle global initiatives (auth, sso, billing and revenue) across several products at Sitemate. 

• Since 2018, we have been managing customer billing manually. We used no-code tools like chargebee to experiment and test different pricing options whilst going through the product market fit journey. 

  • This had many advantages, as it allowed us to test 10-15 different pricing variations over 3-4 years of discovery. However, as of the current scale, we’d need to automate manual tasks around billing and auditing. Your role would be to help automate the process alongside the other engineers.

• For the first couple of months, you will pick up some ‘warm up’ tasks to help you familiarise yourself with our systems and processes, as well as our existing functionality. You will also be getting involved in the planning and optimising billing for our customers and eliminating manual tasks.

• Your journey starts with familiarising yourself with our systems and processes, followed by active involvement in planning and development. As the project evolves, you'll play a key role in developing new features and resolving challenges.

• You’ll be working closely with our delivery team (Product Owner & QA Engineers), product team and broader engineering team on both delivering on the project and contributing to decision making around company-wide engineering issues.

The Role

As a Front-end Engineer at Striveworks, you’ll be working directly with our data scientists and software engineers to build an analytics platform that delivers impact for a erse customer base. You’ll have the challenge of designing and implementing UI/UX components for the platform. You’ll coordinate with the rest of the team working on the data science, data engineering, and infrastructure of this system, so a passion for collaborative and multidisciplinary problem solving is essential.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 $130,000/year. Striveworks’ total compensation package includes a competitive base salary, annual performance-based equity grants, and a lucrative yearly cash bonus.

The base salary for this position spans from a minimum of $148,000 in our lowest geographic region to a maximum of $210,000 in our highest geographic region.
