We are looking for people who embrace teamwork. You could have a couple of years under your belt, or be an experienced full stack developer, you will find challenging and interesting work in a fun environment with us!
To learn more about us, watch this video and e-meet our Engineering Manager, Diego Jancic: https://youtu.be/hWgwIenFoi8
As a Software Engineer at Power Diary, you will be responsible for developing features end-to-end. You will need to get right into our code base, understand it, and make it better. You work in a self-managing, cross-functional Scrum team where you will write, test, and deploy your code, and review your peer’s pull requests. You will have to consider the architecture of new and existing features as you work, research different ways to do something, identify the best of them, and code it all up. Think clearly and tell us when we’re wrong.
Want to know more about the types of features you could be working on? This short video will get you up to speed fast.
Does this sound like you?
- Several years experience working on full-stack development
- Enjoy being part of a team, growing and helping one another
- Excited when you have the chance to pair and collaborate
- Always interested in learning new things
- Enjoy being responsive to customer feedback and stakeholder
- Practice test-driven development and judicious refactoring
- You are a pragmatic problem solver, knowing how to find the middle ground between “perfect, but takes forever to code” and “fixes it now, but nobody will ever be able to understand what I did”
- Work well in a small team with a clear mission
- Detail-oriented and precise in code, communication, and documentation
- You have the insight to know what’s important and the dedication to get it done
- We prefer working with people who live in locations which overlap with Central European Time but it is not an absolute requirement to be in Europe, (+/- 4 hours of CET).
Technical skills required:
While existing experience with the technologies we use is welcome, an open and disciplined approach to your work is more important to us than whether you already know .NET, TypeScript, or anything else in our stack. We value the willingness to learn our technologies and environment over domain-specific skills. You just have to show us that you are the kind of person who is at home learning a new programming language.
We use .NET MVC, .NET Core, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, C#, REACT and TypeScript. Our systems run on AWS, our code is hosted on GitHub, our builds run on TeamCity.
The Software Engineering Team
We are a small team of talented, multi-cultural engineers, distributed across the globe. We embrace industry best practice such as clean coding, code reviews, automated tests, continuous integration, and few-click deployments. We are 100% distributed so we rely on good communication via Slack or Zoom calls within our team and wider organisation.

About us
Block explorers suck. They load obscure data that requires years of chain nativity to understand intuitively. We don’t believe this standard can persist if Web3 is to progress. None of the promises of the technology or the ethos—transparency and equity in global decision making, data organization, and the potential to change social structures—matter unless they can be accessed. Thus, one of the most immediate problems in web3 that must be solved is extremely poor user experience. This problem is experienced across the entire web3 stack, starting at the core—block data.
Mission
The Lore Block Explorer makes blockchain data legible, and querying as simple as Google Search.
Lore is building THE semantic search interface for on-chain data. We are doing this by first building a transaction action translator that takes the current standard of block-data (32 bit wallet addresses, random method calls, and indecipherable 0 value transactions when it is abundantly clear that value has been moved) and translates it to a simple English sentence.
With our unique dataset of activity descriptors and assets, we are then able to create semantic searches.
Culture
- We think deeply about the space and how the world would look different if and when we succeed in our mission. We hire people who contribute to this discourse.
- We work hard. This is an early stage startup in a bear market. The hours are long but very rewarding. We are extremely respectful of your limits, always.
- We celebrate wins
- We analyse losses
- We speak our minds
About you
We are looking for a senior front-end software engineer who is passionate about the intersection of UX and web3, and appreciates the power that interfaces have to transform user experiences.
- You have a natural sense for product and obsess over the details
- You love the fast-paced motion of a small team on a mission. Oh, and you love growth
- You speak your mind and are unafraid to disagree because you believe the best collaborative efforts are open and honest
- You’re chain native. That means you know and understand blockchain data, logic, and structure intuitively as a function of exposure and experience.
Bonus: if you’re working and leading a team at Big Tech right now, we’d love to be your way out.
Core Responsibilities
- Own the interface design implementation process for the Block Explorer Product (wallet address pages, contract pages, token pages etc).
- Work closely with the CTO, Product Leads and Designers to build a cohesive process for front-end deliverables
- Frequent assessment and iteration recommendations best on the same
Hard Qualifiers
- 2-3 years of building React/Angular/or Vue apps in teams
- Multiple Projects building with React - (Typescript + NextJS) with clean, scalable, performant code
- Extensive familiarity using TailwindCSS
- Multiple projects building with React Query, SWR, or similar caching libraries
- Multiple projects building with Jotai, Zustand, or similar state management libraries (flexible)
- Experience implementing real-time (e.g. websockets, polling, etc.) web apps
Bonuses
- Extensive familiarity with Ether.js and experience building front-ends that have interacted with wallet providers. We understand if you are not familiar, but this is a big plus.
- Past experience working with blockchain data and familiarity with smart contracts.
- Backend
- Familiarity with PSQL databases and ORMs
- Familiarity with Docker
- Familiarity with NodeJS
Soft Qualifiers
- Endless curiosity about the future of web3. We are looking for people who will come to us with new, creative ways to use this legible data—thinking critically about this is part of the job
- You are passionate about the space, and want to work in it outside of the promise of financial gain; we want to see from you that you know this company should exist even outside of the team that is building it.

About the job:
Come help us lay the foundation for the future of agriculture! We are a team of innovators who have been at the forefront of empowering farms to use their data to become more productive and more sustainable for nearly 15 years. At AgSquared you will have the unique opportunity to help build a suite of products that is truly impactful on a global scale, while working with a fantastic team of talented, down-to-earth people who love their work and love working together.
What we do:
At AgSquared, our mission is to help farms become more sustainable and adopt a greater level of transparency without sacrificing the productivity and profitability that allows them to stay in business. We accomplish this by outfitting farms with a technology stack that allows them to gather data from the field, process it, and move it into the hands of those who need it, ultimately allowing them to evolve into more modern, data-driven businesses.
Our background is in agriculture, and it shows. Our company was founded by two vegetable breeders, and this uniquely positions us to understand how to create software that will actually get used and actually have an impact. We focus relentlessly on making the day-to-day experiences of farm workers more enjoyable and friction-free by providing them with mobile tools to help them do their jobs better. Farm owners love us because their employees love us.
What you will do:
We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer to join our engineering team. Your primary role will be to expand our suite of ETL processes that convert raw data into processed forms that serve a wide variety of analytical purposes.
Our platform’s primary data architecture is structured to offer a high level of flexibility and configurability in the data collection process, so that each customer can fine-tune our mobile app to best fit into the way they run their farm, but this typically means that conducting analyses on raw data is relatively inefficient. As our platform has evolved and customers are relying on us to process increasingly large data sets for increasingly complex analyses, we have found that adding an ETL layer to extract and process the raw data into more usable forms gives us the best of both worlds – we can offer the most flexible experience to field-based farm workers while being able to produce analyses of the collected data for decision-makers efficiently and on demand.
Until now we have been building these ETL processes on an as-needed basis, but we are ready to make this approach a more permanent and expansive feature of our platform. That is where you come in – we are looking for someone to lead the effort to build out our ETL environment. In this role you will work closely with our company’s CTO, the product owner, and the BI lead. You will make high-level strategic choices about how our ETL environment will be structured and how it will interface with the other components of our platform, and then you will take the lead in building it out.
AgSquared is a small, close-knit team, and so everyone here wears multiple hats. While your primary responsibility will be the development of our ETL environment, you will also have the opportunity to work on a wide range of different projects in our mobile app, APIs, backend, dashboarding platform, etc. Come prepared to expand your horizons and try lots of new things!
What you bring:
Necessary qualifications:
The core competencies and qualifications we’re looking for include:
10+ years of experience in designing and development of web and mobile applications, with heavy use of JavaScript frameworks, REST APIs and SQL
Ability to work independently, while retaining the ability to ask questions about proper architecture and domain knowledge
Deep understanding of enterprise architecture and patterns. Experience architecting ETL or similar processes
Experience with SQL and stored procedures
Experience with NoSQL databases
Experience with PHP 5.x
Experience with Ember/React/Angular javascript framework
Experience with Subversion
Experience with ES6
Experience with REST
Experience with SASS
Experience with Responsive Design
Experience with Linux management
Experience with remote working
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice-to-Have (Not Required)
Experience with D3 or similar data visualization technologies
Experience with data sciences
Experience with Klipfolio
Experience with CSS animations
Experience with Cordova
Experience with Symfony
Experience with Puppet
We don’t expect you to know anything about farming, but if you do that’s a plus!
What we offer:
AgSquared is an awesome place to work! We have been a fully-remote team since our company was founded in 2009, and we truly understand what it takes to run a remote workplace where people feel connected, empowered, supported, and set up for success. Some specific benefits include:
Work from wherever you want - As long as you have a stable internet connection and can overlap a portion of your work day with U.S. east coast hours, you can be anywhere in the world you’d like to be.
Excellent work-life balance - Work-from-home can become work-all-the-time without proper boundaries. At AgSquared, we have spent nearly 15 years fine-tuning how we help our team members thrive, both professionally and in life, while working remotely. We offer very generous paid-time-off and parental leave policies. We also encourage you to not only take vacations, but to also carve out the time on a day-to-day basis to spend time with the people who are around you. It’s important that you take the time to go to your child’s school play or to have lunch with your mom, to walk your dog or have coffee with a friend – remote work makes these things possible, and you will feel supported and encouraged at AgSquared to have that life outside of work.
Career development – We encourage our team members to try new things and develop new skills during their time at AgSquared. We are a close-knit team - you will be in the loop on what everyone else is doing, and there will be plenty of opportunities to join your teammates on projects that help you develop new skills.
Opportunity to work with world-class specialists – AgSquared doesn’t look like your typical tech company – our average team member has 18 years of experience working in agriculture! If you are interested in creating technology for farms, there is no better place to start that journey.

$130,000 — $180,000/yearSora is seeking a senior level full-stack software engineer to help us build our web application.
About Sora
Sora’s mission is to empower people-focused teams to create exceptional employee experiences. These teams should be spending time with people, but unfortunately all facets of People teams are bogged down by managing processes instead of helping people. That’s where Sora comes in: we’re building a product that streamlines the tedious and repetitive work People teams do every day, from sending emails to assigning onboarding tasks to a new hire’s manager to syncing data across anywhere from 3 to 20 tools in a customer’s HR stack.
We’re a pure startup, with all the excitement that carries as a foundational member, but with more thoughtfulness than the typical early-stage company. We’re committed to our values and we take our mission seriously. Employee experience is in our DNA — we invest in processes that are inclusive and fair, and we invest in our long-term mental, physical, and emotional health.
Sora is committed to being a erse, equitable, and inclusive workplace. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, age, physical disability, or length of time spent unemployed.
About the Team
We are a small and mighty team of engineers with a passion for helping People teams do their best work. We’re empathetic, scrappy, nimble, thoughtful and committed to excellence. We listen to our teammates when they raise ideas or concerns. We get to provide input that shapes which features we’ll prioritize as a company, and then we drive the planning, implementation, and release of those features.
We live all over the country and (outside of COVID) love to get together for board games, surfing, cooking, Mario Kart, and more :)
About the Role
