Roles and Responsibilities:

• Use knowledge of M365 and EM+S products, methods, and solutions to design, engineer, and make technical recommendations on Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace, Compliance, and Security for GuidePoint clients
• Work with client stakeholders by communicating compliance management for adopted M365 products and implement best practices for M365 Security
• Actively make contributions to technical design sessions and prepare technical design documentation for architectural reviews
• Utilize outside the box thinking to define new and improved solutions or optimize current processes and tools
• Managing and supporting Microsoft Entra ID, identity life-cycle management, process automation and improvement
• Demonstrate understanding of Zero Trust principles and how they apply to the M365 platform
• Align business requirements with M365 applications, services, and features
• Conduct security assessments of Azure, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft services by leveraging cloud security standards established by CSA CCM, CIS, NIST, and GuidePoint’s own cloud controls framework.
• Draft cloud security deliverables based on assessment findings.
• Work with subject-matter experts from other GuidePoint Information Assurance practices to understand internal process and functional requirements (e.g., GRC, AppSec, DFIR, Penetration Testing).
• Accurately and consistently document findings and recommendations that is easily digested by clients including procedural documentation and technical briefings.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed project objective and user expectations.
• Possess strong client-facing and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Experience reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals.

About this role

We believe technology will play a critical role in enabling the next generation of cash delivery operations: from identifying recipients without needing to knock on doors to a modern payments infrastructure that gets dollars in recipients’ hands faster and more scalably. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• BA/BS or equivalent 4 year university degree.

About this role

Our mission is to deliver a lean and reliable data foundation that enables informed decision making for our many internal customers across Finance, Customer Operations, Sales, Marketing and more.

We are in the middle of a migration, and our Data Warehouse and transformation pipelines are still on a nascent state. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be contributing to our key goal of setting up a data platform foundation that will scale with the business. You will help evolve Pitch and the infrastructure it uses to make sure that decisions can always be driven by high quality data.

Future and current challenges involve scalability and experimentation and driving substantial change in the way we make better and more informed decisions.

What you’ll get to do:

• Plan and support the buildout of our Snowflake data warehouse, and future-proof it for scale.
• Leverage the right tools to enable the team to build a lean infrastructure that delivers testable, maintainable, and modern data solutions.
• Take the lead on implementing best practices with regards to moving infrastructure from vendor-based to in-house or open-source.
• Integrate data ingestion tools and automate data quality checks.
• Implement and own our data warehouse management and other systems’ monitoring.
• Play a lead role in contributing to our experimentation tooling.

What you should bring:

• At least 3-5 years’ experience with Data Warehouse Management and/or Cloud Platform development, ideally within a product-minded SaaS or Tech company.
• Experience in pipeline orchestration using modern Big Data tools and architectures.
• Deep understanding of Data Warehouse management with Snowflake, Redshift and/or BigQuery.
• Solid cloud platform experience with Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform.
• Infrastructure as code experience with CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Exposure to DevOps workflows.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing, and SQL for building data transformation.
• Strong interest in working on foundational infrastructure and automation practices.
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, product-led growth SaaS company.
• Strong cross-functional working and communication skills, and the ability to work within a centralized team.

You will have strategic oversight of our CI/CD pipelines, driving the “shift-left” approach for a seamless developer experience. Your collaboration with business stakeholders to address their specific security requirements will be vital. Responsibilities:

• Oversight of our CI/CD pipelines: Collaborate with multiple teams and manage security integration at every stage of our continuous integration and deployment pipelines. We strongly believe in the shift-left approach and our goal is to have a quick and meaningful feedback loop between our tools and the development process – with an aim to improve developer experience.
• Automation & Scripting: Proven experience with automation and scripting, ideally with Python, to reduce manual, repetitive tasks, and improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Security Architecture: Be involved in designing, building and implementing security architectures, demonstrating a deep understanding of various security solutions.
• Business Collaboration: Be comfortable with discussing the business security requirements and escalating relevant risks to be addressed.
• IAM: Be comfortable in reviewing or raising issues with Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies and tools. Nice to have: Experience with OIDC between Github and AWS.
• Threat Modelling: Ability to perform threat modelling activities in the early stages of product development.
• Incident Management: Engage in security incident management investigations, partake annual tabletop exercises, identify/respond, mitigate, and, when needed, implement preventative, remedial actions. Be comfortable in jumping on an investigation (Only when strictly necessary!) to support the team out of hours in case of a security incident.
• Vulnerability Management: Ability to contribute to our vulnerability management program with enhancements/improvements and operate the platform to ensure teams have what they need to address vulnerabilities within SLA.
• Manage Cyber Security Tools: Manage and assist in tuning security tools that enhance operational processes while maintaining security, including but not limited to WAF, SIEM, Endpoint Protection, Bug Bounty Program, CSPM, Asset Inventory.
• Cloud Security (Nice to have): Experience in managing cloud environments, controlling and approving access rights, monitoring compliance, and managing the environment for potential security vulnerabilities. Knowledge of containerization (ie. Docker) and main cloud technologies, primarily AWS but also on GCP, Azure.

Qualifications and experience:

Data Collection and Analysis:

• Oversee the collection, organization, and aggregation of large data sets across dozens of internal and external data sources.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of experience in advanced data science and analytics roles, preferably in high-growth, dynamic environments (with 3+ years of in-depth predictive modeling/forecasting experience)
• Extensive experience with cloud-based data collection, management, and automation (data scraping, ETL, data warehouses/lakes, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with advanced methods in machine learning, data mining, statistics, optimization, classification, forecasting and/or NLP
• Advanced experience with database languages (e.g. SQL) and statistical programming languages (e.g. Python, R, etc.)
