About the Role
This role will report to the General Counsel and be responsible for providing legal support and services on a wide variety of issues including commercial, regulatory, compliance, litigation, purchasing, and more by interacting with business representatives from all levels of the organization. As a founding team member this role offers significant opportunity for ownership, the ability to work on cutting edge issues and act as a strategic legal partner to our business (Sales, Marketing, Human Resource, and other operational functions) in substantive legal areas with responsibilities including:
- Draft and negotiate sales, SAS, evaluation and vendor agreements, NDAs and DPAs with a significant focus on supporting key sales and purchasing initiatives with supervision.
- Interpret and assess applicable laws, regulations, guidance, and industry standards, including but not limited to federal and state fraud and abuse laws, anti-corruption laws, pricing and reimbursement policies, and others to effectively understand and manage risk.
- Review and provide guidance on marketing and promotional materials for compliance with company policies, industry standards, applicable laws and regulations.
- Build and update playbooks, template documents and checklists.
- Assist with expansions into new jurisdictions and product verticals, some of which may require mediation of sensitive and high impact issues.
- Analyze and counsel the business on other relevant legal issues as they arise, including but not limited to regulatory approval processes, real estate matters, advertising, competition law, and others and assisting with development of training as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned based on the needs of a quickly growing international company.

Block is looking for an experienced executive to lead the legal regulatory organization. You will lead, manage, and develop a team of regulatory attorneys and professionals to support Blocks growing ecosystem. You will be a trusted advisor to senior management and provide guidance on a spectrum of regulatory matters at the enterprise level across all of our business units: Square, Cash App, TIDAL, TBD, Proto and Spiral. Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. About the Position
The Paralegal provides administrative and litigation support for the Legal team. At the direction of the Paralegal Manager and attorneys, the Paralegal works on all aspects of litigation, including intake, preparation of initial drafts of lawsuits and exhibits, discovery, preparing trial binders, settlement, and executing federal and state court filings, administrative complaints, and immigration documents and applications.The Paralegal works with the Paralegal Manager and Legal Management Team to improve efficiency and productivity for the legal team, including working to manage software systems and the case docket.

The Paralegal will be responsible for driving success in the following key areas:
Specific Position Responsibilities
- Act as the lead paralegal in high-impact legal cases, advocacy, and related campaigns.
- Manage the lifecycle of assigned cases, and advise on best practices relating to document production, workflow management and the case team.
- Participate in multi-strategy litigation, media and advocacy campaigns with internal teams and external partners.
- Draft and finalize complaints, summons, substantive briefs, motions, [proposed] orders, exhibits, excerpts of record, appendices, transcripts, declarations, pro hac vice applications, responses to e-Discovery, etc., and coordinate document production in accordance with rules of the Federal, Appellate and U.S. Supreme Courts. (TOA, TOC and secondary authorities).
- File briefs, motions, etc., in accordance with rules of the Federal, Appellate and U.S. Supreme Courts. (TOA, TOC and secondary authorities) and ensure timely and proper service.
- Manage and maintain digital case files, ECF admissions and various charts/credentials, case management, (e.g., CLIO, FOIA, Everlaw, DocketBird, MS Teams, etc.)
- Manage litigation docket and calendars for court deadlines, collaborating with the Legal Coordinator on weekly litigation calendar updates, various compliance charts, MCLE, and other calendaring.
- Conduct factual research for the development of cases and related campaigns, including client intake, witness interviews, and drafting client declarations.
- Conduct legal research using tools and resources such as WestlawNext, WestlawNext Drafting Assistant, Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (FRCP), The Bluebook: Uniform System of Citations, jurisdictional local court rules, appellate and U.S. Supreme Court procedures.
- Assist with court hearing and trial preparation: by preparing exhibits, coordinating with witnesses, and assisting with the preparation of hearing/trial binders/digital documents in collaboration with the Legal Coordinator.
- Support all aspects of discovery including preparation of drafts and final copy of discovery responses and coordination of document production in accordance with rules of the Federal and Appellate Courts.
- Collaborate with legal team members (lead attorney) to draft materials for settlement of fees and costs and fees petitions and compile supportive documentation such as researching attorney and paralegal rates, recommending rates to lead attorney, and preparing Lodestar billing records and cost reports.
- Outreach/establish rapport with potential inidual and organizational plaintiffs.
- Maintain solid working relationships with colleagues, counsel, clients, court staff, etc.
- Conduct client communication/outreach by phone, writing, and in-person to share case progress, strategy, and developments.
- Partner on amicus brief work including outreach, tracking and communication with potential amici, drafting statements of interest, and finalizing and filing briefs.
- Attend court hearings including, but not limited to, status conferences and oral arguments, depositions, client meetings, and meetings with opposing counsel.
- Draft and execute Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests in collaboration with attorneys: review and index documents; chart, and manage calendars, serve as corresponding agent.
- Maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional associations to keep abreast of the latest developments in applicable law and other related areas per California Code, Business and Professions Code – BPC 6450.
- Co-manage legal department calls, messages, voicemails, emails, and faxes including but not limited to technical assistance calls and calls from counsel and court employees, providing technical assistance on a rotating basis as needed.
- Lead technical support for Legal team: Maintain, support, and troubleshoot existing Litigation Support applications and databases including MS Teams/Sharepoint, Clio and Everlaw, etc; manage data conversion into and out of litigation support systems; maintain and consult with internal and external IT professionals regarding VOIP phone system, emails, practice management software, and legal department files, and perform ongoing quality checks.
- Design, maintain, and coordinate set-up and use of practice management software including Clio and Everlaw including developing support materials and training other staff members as needed in collaboration with Legal Coordinator, monitoring changes in litigation software & making recommendations to the Legal Management Team as appropriate.
- Collaborate with project managers to research and recommend changes to litigation input processes such as case file management and practice management software that may be useful for attorneys and legal support staff.
- Collaborate and maintain relationships with outside vendors such as translation services, process server services, court reporters, interpreters, and relevant IT Support.
- Scan and process documents, data, images (including OCR images) and related material into litigation databases, case management applications, and practice management systems.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

A member of the Habitat for Humanity International Legal Department, this attorney would focus on compliance, regulatory and transactional legal matters related to Habitat’s Terwilliger Center for Innovation in Shelter (TCIS) and related market development and impact investment work. At least 50% of the time for this role will be dedicated to supporting MicroBuild 1 and 2, global affordable housing impact investment debt funds managed jointly by Habitat for Humanity, through TCIS, and an independent fund manager.
Legal and strategic support for TCIS, an initiative of Habitat for Humanity International that works to expand low-income families’ access to housing products, services and financing by working with various actors throughout the housing ecosystem, including financial institutions, manufacturers and retailers, educational institutions, public sector agencies, civil society organizations, contractors and designers, and media companies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
In-house attorney for Habitat’s Terwilliger Center for Innovation in Shelter (TCIS) and General Legal Support. Since launching, Habitat’s Terwilliger Center has helped over 35 million people access improved housing solutions; worked with over 100 financial institutions to unlock US$7.9 billion in affordable housing; and catalyzed US$64 million in new business for firms serving low-income segment, including MicroBuild and other innovative housing products and servicesReporting to the Deputy General Counsel, this position will be able to work with the TCIS leadership and outside counsel to manage TCIS’ activities in support of the above mission. Specific duties will include:
• 50% – MicroBuild Fund – Support for Habitat-established funds that provide capital to the housing sector allowing financial institutions and other organizations to provide the products and services needed by low-income households, including:• MicroBuild II.
o Will get the opportunity to work with outside counsel and law school clinics to provide advice and support on Habitat’s sponsorship and investment in a new, multi-jurisdiction $500M MicroBuild fund, which will include DFI and other investors to expand on the success of MicroBuild I. o This will also include helping with negotiations and management of the governance and fund manager relationships to ensure success of the new fund, while addressing US corporate and tax matters related to Habitat’s participation in MicroBuild II. • Micro Build I o Work with TCIS and outside counsel and law school clinics to support development of case studies, learnings, and other materials relating to the fund with the goal of expanding awareness and knowledge of the viability of housing finance. o Administration and legal maintenance of existing $100M MicroBuild I entity, including compliance with lender and investor requirements, tax matters, relationship with the fund manager, and eventual wind-down and disbursement of proceeds. • 25% – Shelter Venture Fund – Support for an initiative that invests in shelter entrepreneurs, including: o Due diligence of startups who support Habitat’s mission through innovative housing and construction products and tools o Develop, review and/or negotiate transaction documents for HFHI’s investment o Provide guidance on best corporate practices for startups o Work with local counsel on matters of policy and regulatory compliance • 10% – ShelterTech Accelerator – Support TCIS’ regional accelerators that look for revolutionary solutions in affordable housing: o Training materials and guidance on best legal practices for accelerator participants to grow their businesses o General legal matters regarding vendors and other relationships who support the holding of accelerators • 10% – Communications, Resource and Business Development Support: o Work with Habitat’s communications and fundraising department to support advocacy, awareness, and raising of debt, grant/philanthropic and impact investment capital in support of the above TCIS work. • 5%: Provide other general legal support and perform duties, as requested.Minimum Qualifications:

Position Summary:
KIND seeks a Paralegal, Legal Training and Strategy to join its Legal Training and Strategy (LTS) team within the organization’s Legal Programs Team (LPT). KIND’s Legal Training and Strategy team provides training and legal technical assistance to Legal Programs staff, contains KIND’s litigation unit, and collaborates with KIND’s Policy team to address policy issues impacting unaccompanied children. Position Summary:
The Sr. Compliance Paralegal is a key member of our dynamic and innovative Legal department. What You’ll Do
Sprinklr’s Legal Department is looking for Counsel – Commercial (Alliances) . You will be employed through our US entity and will be based in the United States or United Kingdom, remotely, and will primarily support our transactional operations globally as they relate to partnerships and alliances. - Interpreting contractual terms and conditions and advising the Sprinklr business and management regarding contractual obligations
- Advising different teams across Sprinklr on mitigating legal risks in the commercial alliance partner/technology partner context and working closely with cross functional teams across the business
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining standard templates, forms, and processes related to alliances and technology partners

Who You Are & What Makes You Qualified

Responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts, including but not limited to NDAs, MSAs, technology agreements, partnership agreements, and privacy and processing agreements.
- Draft and improve contract templates, processes and procedures for contract management.
- Develop and implement improved procurement processes, templates and policies.
- With paralegal support, maintain Taskrabbit’s contract management system; support and train the business teams to use the system.
- Help maintain and improve upon Taskrabbit’s global privacy, data security and compliance strategy through the drafting of policies, procedures, guidelines and templates.
- Counsel Taskrabbit’s business teams (e.g. Partnerships, Marketing, Operations and Product) on ways to reduce or prevent legal risks by providing practical solutions-focused advice in a commercial environment.
- This is a small legal team so you will have ample opportunity (and be expected to) pitch in and work on matters outside of your core responsibilities.
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant work experience at law firms and/or in-house.
- A member in good standing with the California or New York State Bar (or qualified for or willing to apply for and maintain Registered In-House Counsel status with the California State Bar).
- A strong track record of drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide range of commercial agreements, with the ability to identify and analyze core legal issues.
- A working knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations (CCPA/CPRA and other U.S. state privacy laws, GDPR, e-Privacy Directive, etc.) with the ability to deliver privacy advice to a range of stakeholders and business functions.
- Solid stakeholder management and engagement abilities with strong written, presentation and communication skills – you work effectively in cross-functional teams and are open-minded, inclusive, and flexible.
- You embrace ambiguity, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are comfortable working flexibly under pressure or with tight deadlines.
- You have excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.

Compensation & Benefits:
At Taskrabbit, our approach to compensation is designed to be competitive, transparent and equitable. total compensation consists of base pay + bonus + benefits + perks.
The base pay range for this position is $135,000-$188,000. This range is representative of base pay only, and does not include any other total cash compensation amounts, such as company bonus or benefits. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, and will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, geography, and level.

What will my duties and responsibilities be in this job?
- Review, analyze, and draft contracts, including internal templates, while working with account executives and business leaders to create customized client contracts that align with product specifications, complex financial structures and external client expectations

We are looking for a Loss Control Program Manager who will be responsible for developing, implementing, executing various programs designed to minimize the amount, and recover, any losses Curri incurs from cargo, property damage and personal injury claims under its Loss Assurance Program. The ideal candidate will respond to loss incidents rapidly and aggressively while also having the ability to articulate the value of the company’s loss control efforts internally. The position reports to the Company’s General Counsel.
What you will do:
* Review and analyze historic loss data and develop and implement strategic initiatives that will improve Curri’s loss results.
* Work with the Company’s General Counsel and Compliance Manager to develop continual improvements to Curri’s loss reduction and recovery programs.* Collaborate with Curri’s digital product development team to direct development efforts on Curri’s platform that will reduce, or enhance recovery of, Curri’s losses. * Develop and execute a rapid response program for lost and stolen cargo claims. * Investigate, evaluate and respond to all claims submitted to Curri under its Loss Assurance Program or otherwise related to personal injuries or property damage occurring during Curri deliveries.* Assemble and submit demands to drivers, motor carriers, insurance carriers, and any other third parties who may be liable to Curri for losses it incurs. * Pursue recovery of losses by all reasonably available means, when appropriate, and negotiate settlements with at-fault parties and/or their insurance carriers.What you will need to have:
